Edit: title should say shure :|When I saw this the look in her eyes hit me somewhere deep and words fail me when trying to describe how this makes me feel... Its almost as if I feel guilty or something.

Just thought I would share this and see what you guys have to say

Your title actually should say "sure". There's no 'H'.

Anyway, as for the girl ... she looks like someone I took theater classes with in college.

That picture is very old (in modern terms), taken during the Russian Afghanistan war, is infamous and widely considered the National Geographic "Mona Lisa".

After the American Afghanistan War she was found and a new picture was taken:

I feel guilty that we didn't bomb the commies back to the stone age when we had the chance too. I know how you feel.

I remember reading the story about the photographer's search for her all these years later. It was quite sad. It's telling how she looks, she's not that old.

Do you remember this little girl from Vietnam during the war? http://www.mtw-systemhaus.de/kkrieg/bilder/bildl.jpg
Kim Phuc has gone on to be a successful member of the community in Australia, working at a university in Brisbane (among other things).
