That's not a mask. That's his face. He doesn't have any skin on his face, hence the name Skeletor.
Megatron is badder. He's a giant robot with a nuclear fusion cannon on his arm. However when it comes to homoeroticism Megatron and Optimus Prime have Skeletor and He-Man beat.
I remember that there was an episode where Optimus wielded Megatron as a weapon. Those of us who have owned the toy know what Megatron's "trigger" really was.
I stand by the assertion that they made Megatron a Tank in later series not because of the backlash against realistic toy guns but because of the giant crotch trigger.

No way! Tetsuo would just tear him to bits before mutating into a giant baby. Then he'd just grow all over him. Telekinetic power is hard to beat.
Skeletor would kick his arse on prinicple though. He-man cheats, and this is well documented. Surviving a bath of lava constitutes cheating. if that doesn't kill you, not much will.

Yeah, furthermore, mental powers wouldn't be effective against a solid state electronic brain. Everyone knows that the EM/psi fields involved with mind control don't interact with semi-conductor material. DUH!

Skeletor's rubber head gives him an advantage when it comes to absorbing damage, also his moulded plastic body is stronger and slightly pliant, unlike Megatron's more brittle construction. Skeletor survived being used as a chew toy by a Scottish terrier. Now that's tough!
Skeletor and He-man have always been "very" close. However they were both inconvenienced when a rebal alliance of Star Wars figures, Micronaughts and Lego people, threw grappling hooks onto Castle Greyskull and dragged it off the top of the cupboard.

According to the bock of the toy box, Megatron can make his cannon more powerful by linking it to a black hole in some interdimensional manner. So he is much more powerfull than any silly solar laser.
He might be suspeciable to telepathic powers, though. Soundwave's mind reading power works on organic brains just as well as they work on machine brains.
