First off, not all conservatives consider Gays to be a "Plague", I find the AIDS reference quite un-funny, dude, like, it's disgusting?

Second, I likewise find the comments about rape to be in poor f***ing taste- someone can deserve to be executed, but not raped. Not even those sick bastards in NAMBLA deserve that. A bullet to the head, sure, same with electricity applied in large amounts in a clean room after the priest has given last rights, or a long-drop hanging carried out by a professional, even Lethal Injection... but not rape.
It's a sore spot, my sister was raped.

I don't seriously think you'll have any problems coming into the country (if that's what you're referring to), remember, large numbers of Federal Employees are more liberal than Ward Churchill or Michael Moore. Government is where you find a higher concentration of extreeem leftists than almost anywhere else in the population. Provided you're set on getting a government job, (and not a military job-that's a different department entirely), you'll fit right in if you drop the phony-phlag-waving.

But... Yes. Death is better than Rape. You only die once, the trauma ends. My brother in law has let me know she hasn't stopped having the nightmares, and it's been almost twelve years. They've spent something on the order of $75,000 on therapies, prescriptions, and gone through four docs trying to cope.

(75k is a lot of money when you work in a factory. Without the insurance, it would be significantly more.)

My neice has told me other things she's noticed over the years.
Obviously, you've never had someone you love completely fucking changed in a bad way by something that traumatic. I hope it never happens to anyone close to you, because it's one of those things that really...never mind.

Have you ever heard of a thing called Chi Kung. It was started by the Shoalin Monks, and is excellent for depression, general well being etc. My little sister was severly affected by bullying I know its not the same thing but in the most severe instances the effects have proven to be the same. Chi Kung has helped her, not gotten rid of what happened because that will never happen, but I am telling you Chi Kung is well worth it, it your neice deal with what has happened. I also recommend a martial art, not on that riddiculus advice that sport cures everything but two of my friends were raped last summer and it has helped one of them just to build up confidence.
