It was bad enough when we had Neo-Nazis picketing in Boston at the Holocaust memorial! Now, those sons-of-bitches the Westboro Baptist Church are invading my beloved state!
They're planning two events, to protest the June 5th Lowell High School graduation, merely because a percentage of the students are gay. And! I have just learned on my local news and on their own damn website that they plan to picket outside a middle school in Dracut, because one student wrote a high-scoring report on Ellen Degeneres.
A MIDDLE SCHOOL! Just let me say that again so that it may set in. A middle school!
I for one will not tolorate their brand of hatred! I will not see kids traumatized or graduates villified by these pricks! I will do all in my power to be there on those days to show my anger!

Well, we almost do have people like that. Like the guy who siad that gay people were tumor and so on. Or Runar Sörgård (for you non-swedes he said that Muhammed was a pedophile)...we can just hope that they will not grow in power.
And since they pick on gay people isntead of other sins it feels like they tend to focus on small thing that they actually can do something about instead of bigger things which would be harder to "fix".

Since they gay people ahd so little power in the beginning it was an easy target. Now as the power of gay activist increases they will perhaps try to find another target in the end.

They preach hate, hate, hate. The Christian faith is all about love. They believe I am unsaved, a filthy dyke like a dog who eats their own vomit (their words). They cannot understand, grasp, or believe that God is love, despite it being clearly written in the Bible they supposedly hold to be perfect truth. They are NOT a good representation of Christianity, in fact I would question if they are even Christian at all. They are denounced by almost all Christians, even Ake Green who was arrested for speaking against homosexuality in Sweden does not agree with their hate-filled rhetoric.

those assholes came to albuquerque/santa fe to protest that the churches here arent mean enough to gay people
it brought alot of people together actually. people who would normally not be comfortable hanging out together were happy to get together to tell these hate mongers that they didnt belong in new mexico.
go enjoy the protest. youll find that no one agrees with them. people from all sides of the political spectrum, even those actively against gay marriage, will be there to tell these guys where to get off.
