I want to make my new game for my College assignment rule beyond belief. And I want it to be fun, with music in the background as well. Now I suppose what I need to ask is, does anyone know Microsoft visual basic? I need to program some key points:
-The game is a simple up and down dodging game, where you must manuver up and down to avoid incomming enemies.
-I have programmed in the title screen, the instruction screen and parts of the game
-I have made it so the background is there, and the character can be moved up and down. Now I need to add the enemy characters, and figure out how to program in Music to run in the background. Does anyone know how to do that?

I think there's a whole guide there.
Don't forget to publish under the GNU license. Go Open Source!

When the games finished it's gonna be made into an EXE File for me and i plan to burn it to disk, as well as send some of my net friends a copy so that they may add to it!

only if he's signed a form for intellectual property I think.
Employers own by default, but education institutions don't unless you sign it over or use their IP
