oh man. there needs to be an option for people like me who are addicted to like 328743298732187542976 things. cigarettes, coffee, alcohol, fatty foods, the internet, etc etc.
Caffeine. I suffer from Chronic insomnia and (even though I take sleeping pills) most days I am sustained through coffee and coffee alone.
I'm addicted to... music. I need to get a fix at least once a day, or I go OFF, man.

I live in the US, Schenectady County, which votes Liberal every election, so I try to even it out in every legal way possible. :)

Alcohol, books, NS forums, arguing, having the world's shittiest sleeping pattern, peanut butter, milk, Family Guy, comics, computers, making weird noises, procrastination, carrying kitchen skewers around the house for no particular raisin....
My biggest would be speaking in a different language. Spelling/pronouncing specificwords differently in a consistent manner, sprinkling foreign terms liberally across conversations, using made-up words, adding 'uber-' and '-ness' to everything, calling people 'kid', 'dude', 'guy', 'man', or racial slur* regardless of actual age/gender/origin.
* I'm not racist, but I have a sick sense of humour. Plus, it's kinda a tradition amongst my guys to split into 'darkie' v 'cracker' teams when doing anything competitive, just to make insults more fun.
Good Anime: Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Samurai Champloo looks promising.
