In High School it is common as muck to slap someone round the head and film it with a video phone. Its not usually that serious but some sickos take way to far and attack people on the street and then posts on websites and send to your mates so the media has made a big deal.

You are supposed to put up some kind of commentary, NOT just C&P or slap up links.

I don't see whats so "Happy" about happy slapping. Someone did it to me a few weeks ago and broke my glasses! Plus I've had friends who have been really badly hurt by these "happy" slaps, its assualt.

Yep. But if you hit them back, they'll get off scot-free, and you'll get imprisoned, or at least I would, dunno how old you are.

Im 16, just left school on thursday (no more having to see chavs day in day out for over an hour), plus i don't see the point in hitting them back as id be a hypocritic.

I should think that the first thing the authorities should do is gather the evidence from these websites and prosecute the little wastes.

Well if you're gonna roll over and let them keep slapping you, they'll keep pushing. Stand up to 'em, they're all cowards anyway. More likely to run away screaming for their mummy. Trust me, you will keep seeing them, what ever you do. If you go to university, you definately will, ditto most sixth-form colleges.

The first little sonofabitch that tried this on me would end up taking pictures of the inside of their colon...right after I drove my boot up there to make it a bit more roomy. :mad:

Oh. Then 'accidentally' knock their cell phone to the ground when you flinch away from them, stumble heavily, and stomp on the video phone, smashing it to flinders.

I guarantee that if this were the standard response to the little bastards, this trend would lose its appeal fast.

Look, Zarbia, I don't know where you live, but I'm sure that in the cities in your country there are gangs, both of the organised kind and of the mindless, educationless teenage-thug kind. Well, we have them too, and it's they who perpetuate this sort of thing. And they don't just let you slap their members around like that.

Most of the chavs I know aren't cowards. The thing is, they've got a pack mentality; even if you're obviously strong enough to lay some serious smack down, if they're in a group they'll attack. However, a large group of kids built like matchsticks will probably be left alone (I've seen it happen).

Once again, they blame people in hoodies for it.... Poor, misguided fools.

Anyway, the first chav to try this on me gets his crotch full of foot. Only problem is they tend to hang around in packs of thirty with flick-knives. Maybe if the government had "chav tests" and anyone who was deemed not to be a chav would be legally entitled to carry as much firepower as they wanted...
