Spain has a noble history. Whether its defending Europe from the Turks at Lepanto, driving the Muslim occupiers out, its mighty overseas colonies, its discovery of the Americas, ect., one can see Spain has a glorious history.

But the Spain of today is different. It is giving into abomination and marrying gays, it is aborting children, it is doing useless embryonic stem-cell research, ect. It has become one of the most liberal countries in Europe. What would great Spaniards like Queen Isabella, King Ferdinand, and King Philip II have to say about the current state of Spain? I shudder to think about it.

However, there is hope for Spain, and the rest of western Europe as well. Benedict XVI! As Grand Inquisitor for Rome he had condemned the immorality growing in Europe, and I have high hopes that as Roman Pontiff he will continue the war against secular liberalism. Maybe Spain will even realize how much they have disgraced themselves, and will come back to the light side. It is unlikely, but I have confidence in His Holiness Benedict XVI.

Actually you're completely wrong. Embrionic Stem-Cell reaserch has never cured even one disease. The kind that does not require murdering people has cured thousands. Recently attended a talk by a PhD medical science teacher on the subject.

Destroying embryos is not called and cannot be called abortion. We disagree with the Catholic position that this is "equivalent to infanticide".

In the absense of morals, there is no difference between killing a murderer, using contraception, spilling your seed, having a period, aborting something unable to sustain itself, dissecting an embryo, or infanticide.

As a christian I find it distressing at the amount of judgement you, commando, are pouring out on others. jesus taught us not to judge others, or to pretend that we are without sin ourselves. AIDS as you put it is NOT due to the sin of a few people, eg. the poor mothers who get raped and get AIDS are not sinning, it's origional sin from the fall of man if that's what u beleive.

You seem to have this weird idea that God is vengeful and will smite those who do not turn to him...this isn't what I get from reading the Bible. Jesus went to those who no-one wanted and showed them a better way - the bible says to 'Gently instruct', not to flame others and shout damnation. :(

God is merciful and forgives sinners - he loves everyone, not just those who 'do good' - doing good doesn't get u to heaven, belief in Jesus dying for your sins does.
