This happened an hours drive away from where I live, so this is in Queensland, Australia. Personally I think that they should have had harsher punishments, but the court's hands are usually tied because the government passes laws restricting the punishment they can hand out and then openly complains about people not being punished harshly enough.

She didn't get "a little" jail time. She got 9 months in prison.

As a result of pleading guilty -- likely a plea bargain.

I don't praise or defend the woman. She should go to jail. Her partner should join her.

I didnt think that I would actually have to explain this, but I wasnt being all that serious. I was picking on Us police for being too brutal at the same time I was picking on foreign police(not German of course) for being too easy going.

I thought that was pretty clear when reffering to breaking open an 18yr old girls face... howver, this is the net and tags would probably help things


As too jail time, I could care less one way or another. Clearly these people need help with anger/reality management and should not be raising kids(and i thought my parents sucked for working all the time, they never used me as human shield though)
