Am I an idiot for having Conservative/Libertarian views?

No, you're just thick-headed (not for the views, but for the things you say). There's a difference, man.

No, but some people are going to say you are just because they don't have the same views.

Idiot isn't the proper word for the situation, 'odd' works much nicer.

Am I an idiot for having Conservative/Libertarian views?

Well, I didn't actually read the post, but anyone who asks "am I an idiot" usually is. :p

(Ok, that's not entirely true, but I couldn't resist hitting 'yes')

No, but you are an idiot for posting a poll asking people if you are an idiot. :p

Am I an idiot for having Conservative/Libertarian views?

what do you mean, have views from each, just like me. I agree with conservative approach to business, but i am more liberal on social matters.

Socially, I'm a libritarian. As long as it doesn't hurt me or my family, I don't care what you do.

Fiscally, I'm conservative. I like small government.

No, but you are an idiot for posting a poll asking people if you are an idiot. :p

Exactly. Hence why one must vote "idiot".

That too, I wouldn't ever make a poll like that.........

Exactly. Hence why one must vote "idiot".

Never thought of it that way.

I'd like to change my vote! :p

On a similar note, if you're Libertarian why would other people's opinions have an effect on anything about you? Why must you ask the question?
I'm Libertarian and rabidly capitalist too, but I don't rely on other people to decide whether I'm an idiot or not.

I didn't read your post, but chose 'yes' because you're and idiot for polling 'am i an idiot?'

That's not the point. Do you want to be an idiot?
If no, than you're not.
If yes, well you are :D .

Am I an idiot for having Conservative/Libertarian views? That depends...are you one of the 10-20% of people that actually benefits from those types of policies?

No one is an idiot, at least not here. We can all write and read, can't we?

There are two questions that one should never ask: These are: "Am I an idiot?" and "Is there hair on the palm of my hands?" The former renders you a fool; the latter renders you mad.

You, having asked the first one, are, indeed, an idiot. :p

Just kidding. Couldn't resist.

No. You are not an idiot for that. People with Con/Lib views are generally Superior. They are, in effect, responsible for virtually everything that keeps society growing and expanding.

Just make sure you don't slide into Con/Fundie views. THOSE types of Cons suck.

OTOH

You ARE an idiot, for letting the Inferiors have a free shot at you, however.

Well, idiots don't put a bail-out "I don't know option" for those who dither and vote yes for the hell of it. :)

i guess you must be, the voters are never wrong

i think its "smart" to have a libertarian point of view. keep out of other peoples lives, stop throwing money at social problems as if money could fix things, think about the constitution when passing or advocating new laws, stop thinking that regulation is the answer to all problems, smaller is better in government.

there are 2 problems with libertarians as a party. the biggest problem is that all the guys are the top are crazy. flat out batshit crazy. if you dont believe me you can look it up faster than i can on my 21.6kbps connection.

the secondary problem is that they are never going to prevail. the ship has sailed on most of their core points. this is a country of close to 300million people, we are not going to go back to the way things were run in 1789. sure they could be working on those smaller things that could (and should) be changed but that #1 biggest problem prevents them from doing so.

so i voted NO but i could be wrong eh?

You're human, so in all probability it's yes. However, factoring in the fact thatyou managed to use comprehensible English, and not type all in capitals, I'd say it's 50/50

*tosses coin*

You're a retard, apparently :p

I'd say, you would be an idiot if you'd go ahead and tell everyone that your views are the only right ones.

Socially, I'm a libritarian. As long as it doesn't hurt me or my family, I don't care what you do.

Fiscally, I'm conservative. I like small government.so you're just libertarian. American conservatives, as defined by the Republican Party, favor big government on all issues except gun regulations
