I have known many old people and have noticed a possible connection between obnoxious behaviour and dementia.
People who are offensive, unfeeling to others or just obnoxious when they are in their 40's and 50's seem to have much higher incidence of dementia when they get older.
This is not to say that all people who become demented were offensive.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Could it be cosmic Karma? Judgement for bad behaviour?
Could dementia present early as obnoxious behaviour?
Let me know your experiences.

you are entering the realms of epidemiology, which is a dicy at the best of times.

I suggest you give up with your research.

I am in my 40s. I get obnoxious when people don't listen having asked or impose without perission on my time or goodwill. Does that mean that I will suffer from dementia. I don't know. I will let you know in 40 years or so if I don't. (If I do, I doubt I'll remember) :D

That's part of my problem. I'm 43 and getting rattier as I get older. is this the onset of dementia or am I just becoming an old git? :p

Being exactly the same age, just an old git, I'd say.
