Helping Out The Poor Souls In Carbondale, Illinois

We, in the interest of helping out our poor brethren who suffer in Carbondale, Illinois, should search on the Internet for interesting things to do and people to meet in Carbondale (I hear that our brethren need women, so help out there with information if you can).
I've already talked about Ashley Richardson, who works for the campus newspaper at the local University - perhaps our brethren could get an interview (or a date) with her and post what they discover.
Now that's not a bad idea - Vittos can go do the interview for NationStates, and it would be a great way to meet her.
Anyone else have any ideas to help them out?

How do you know this Ashley Richardson, and why the interest in Carbondale?
I suppose I could take the girl out, though. Have some chicken, maybe some sex, you know, see what happens.

There was the discovery the other day that you and another guy are in Carbondale, so I Googled the town.
Came across the student paper, and was looking at the names of the authors of articles for names of women.
Ashley seems a little dim in the knowledge of statistics (either that, or she's a font of political correctness). There wasn't a picture of her, either.
You could interview her for us. It has to be more interesting on a Friday night than sitting around posting on NS.
Give the student paper a call!

I will have to call her up and turn on the charm.
She is listed in the student directory, so I have a home phone and address.

My doctor calls it obsessive compulsive disorder.

My wife says that men who bathe at least once a day have OCD. It just means you're clean, neat, and tidy. Which is a good thing in the long run, as long as you don't spend half your day washing your hands.

Maybe Ashley Richardson likes clean hands.

You have to admit that the name sounds hot.
I will be moving to Carbondale in late July/August. Go Salukis! :)

So there are about 100 million OCD suffers in Brazil then.

There's nothing inherently wrong with using NationStates as a venue for meeting people in real life (aside from the fact that that isn't the purpose of NationStates and you need to be careful about Internet hookups, anyway), so if Ms. Richardson wishes to create a NationStates account and post personal information about herself (which I don't advise that anyone do blindly), then that's her business. Please, go ahead, explain to her who you are and invite her to do so.
However, if personal information about her shows up on NationStates without her consent, then somebody is getting forumbanned (at the very least).

My doctor calls it obsessive compulsive disorder.
Your doctor must have gone to Brown college, with that kind of wildly inaccurate diagnosis. :D

Sounds like a good idea to me. iLock.
I'm sorry to have to come down like a ton of bricks; you and "Vittos Ordination" are normally good-natured and rule-abiding players from what I've personally seen. However, personal privacy is a serious issue and I'm sure you can appreciate the fact that most people don't like having their personal information spread all over Al Gore's Internet* without being asked, first.
