1) There has never been any hard, concrete evidence of so called Satanic killings/rituals, if I recall right. Feel free to correct me on this one.

2)I've no problem with Satanists, really. First off, if they follow the actual rules, they're not your stereotypical Devil worshipping people. Second, I don't believe in the Devil..or God..for that matter, so it's a bit moot, I suppose.

3)A friendly tip... use spellcheck. A lot of credibility is lost, at least for me, in a post if someone is making chronic typos.

5.We don't worship the Christian Satan. No one in the right mind would worship the Christian Satan. Only Devil worshippers (aka the fake Satanists, that don't know anything about Satanism) worship the Christian Satan.

We believe in the pre-Christian version of Satan. When Satan was known as a "good guy". Before Christianity label Satan as a villain. Also we traditionally don't believe in Satan as a being, we believe him as a force of nature, but even if a person does believe in Satan as a being. It makes no difference in the religion, because we are our own gods.

I, personally, think that's a pretty good definition of "evil". The most heinous acts in history have resulted from an individual or group putting their own desires ahead of all others.

It also depends a bit on the individual. I won't deny there's potential for negative acts when groups are involved, but that's the case with ANY group. (Go to Topeka, KS on any fair-weathered weekend and check out the Fred Phelps groups protesting, if you don't believe me.) If the individual can understand any level of moderation, even in their own desires (which is surprisingly easy, even for the most "selfish" religions, which I've heard Satanism called), I dont' think it's so bad.

And for this Santinism nonsense, the first thing that crossed my mind was recording star Carlos Santana, but that might be because I'm listening to Evil Ways at the moment.....

Satanism is not evil. We don't support breaking the law, and we don't do heinous acts, and don't forgot all of the heinous acts by people who do horrible things "in the name of God".

Some of the greatest things in history have come about when people stopped caring what others thought and pursued their own goals on their own terms. Simply ascribing indivdualism to evil is incredibly naive. It is neither a good thing nor a bad thing, it simply is. It can be used just as easily to do something good as it can to do something bad.

The number one Satanic Sin is Stupidity. All Satanists have no patience for stupidity. According to my faith, I have every right to disrespect people who have proven to me that they are stupid. It's not just "my" version Satanism, because there's only one real Satanism, which is the Religious Satanism. The other kind of Satanism is call Gothic Satanism aka Devil worshipping aka Satanic Dabbling. Which are fake and have nothing to do with religious aka real Satanism which is a religion.

Believing in Satan is not required for Satanism. Satanism is a philosophy, a way of life. If you live by the philosophy of Satanism, then you don't need to believe in any form of Satan. Believing in any form of Satan is optional, since there's not enough evidence to prove or disprove of Satan's existence.

Those who do believe in Satan as a God also believe in the other 42 Dark Gods. It doesn't really matter what pre-Christian version of Satan we believe in because Satan is the symbol of being the opposite of all other religions.

It's more like the other way around. It was LaVey's protege that believes in this Egyptian god. In 1975, the member of the Church of Satan, Michael Aquino, left the Church of Satan after a disagreement, and organized the Temple of Set. Members of the Temple of Set recognize the Egyptian God. The God was typically portrayed as a man with the head of an animal, the hyena. The media have linked the Temple of Set with the Church of Satan and called both forms of Satanism. The leaders of both religious groups deny that they are related.
