And yes, in answer to the previous post, they are still making SG1 as well as Atlantis. Some of the best Sci Fi on TV today. But I still miss Farscape and Babylon 5 too. :confused: Can't understand why The Sci Fi Channel hasn't picked up Bab 5 or runs Farscape more often.

Ohh my gosh! How great is the new Battlestar Glattica??? It rocks! I like the Dr Baltar character, he's fantastic. I hope Starbuck survives getting this arrow thing. Does Halo ever get to leave the planet?

Stargate SG-1 has finished it's eigth season and a ninth is in production for late this year, it is surposed to be the last season. Stargate Atlantis has finished airing it's first season and a second is also in production for late this year I think, who knows how many more seasons they will make for Atlantis, while SG-1 is nearly over :(

Hopefully they will continue to make SG-1 after its ninth season as it is in my opinion the best sci fi show ever.

I know, it's tragic. But we will have 9 seasons worth to watch, plus the film (which I haven't seen). I'd rather see it go out with a bang than a whimper.

There is so much more they can do.
They could end Atlantis by merging the shows where the wraiths get the symbols for our galaxy and they wage war with us.....along with the replicators and goaul'd.
The Goual'd are by far the best enemies.

Or they could have a new guy in SG-1 (Sam, Daniel, new guy)
and Jack could be general and Teal'c may either re join SG-1 or stay and fight with the Free Jaffa.
