It would be funny if people treated it the same way as they treat the Flat Earth society (ref this thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=418485)), unfortunately some people take it seriously so it stops being funny, and starts being dangerous promotion of discrimination.

They are from São Paulo, but are named after an amateur English Team
Santos are from, believe it or not Santos. (A port on the São Paulo State coast, with a population of about 500, 000)
