I think I recall a time not so long ago when all major bands were endorsing anarchy and leftism, but nowadays the "merits" of capitalism seem to be being conveyed through bling and hip hop etc. How starnge...

Yeah, bitching about corporations while selling CDs for 20 bucks and T-shirts for 25. Not to mention never saying anything about Ticketmaster. Those hypocrites could rock, though.

Not really. As I see it, anarchy is a punk thing, capitalism is a rap thing.

all these bands should do what the greats did back in the 60s & 70s... like led zep... just take lots of drugs, rake in the money, and use it to buy more drugs and a private jet, and just enjoy themselves;)

The hypocrisy charge is a true one. If you disagree with capitalism, you are being a hypocrite if you don't boycott capitalism and purchase anything but bare necessities. Right?
