Well, I'm rather pissed right now. I just went to go find a bookmarked site in Firefox, and found that I had no bookmarks..not even the ones I'd imported from Internet Explorer. So, I reimported those, closed Firefox, reopened it..and they were gone again. Anybody have anything that can help me?

Check \Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[something].default\
and make sure "bookmarks.html" is there.

Well, it's there..but it has none of my Firefox bookmarks..the ones I made after switching to it.I even checked the recycle bin as one of the first things I did to see if I accidentally deleted them, somehow.

I have a question... Do they show up in the "Bookmark Manager"?

Nope. That was also one of the first things I checked.

Some of the older firefox versions do this, I'm not sure of any solution/work around for it.

What version, by the way?

When in doubt: Uninstall and reinstall.

Possibiltity is that one of your extensions has a bug in it. Some of them manage bookmark properties after all.

Although I can't help you with this one, I'll venture the problem would have been 10 times worse with IE. I hate IE. I hate IE. I hate IE.

Did I mention I hate IE?

True..but from what I can tell, it's as if the bookmarks are completely gone...I doubt a reinstall would help.
