## Possible Bomb Hurled Toward Bush in Georgia

TBILISI, Georgia - The Secret Service was investigating a report Tuesday that a hand grenade was thrown at President Bush's durings his speech in Georgia.

It was the only incident to mar what had otherwise been a triumphal appearance by the president in Giorgia, where he said that Georgia had proven to the world that determined people can rise up and claim their freedom from oppressive rulers.

After Bush left Georgia on Tuesday, the Secret Service was informed by Georgian authorities of a report that a device, possibly a hand grenade, had been thrown within 100 feet of the stage during Bush's speech, hit someone in the crowd and fell to the ground, Secret Service spokesman Jonathan Cherry said.

I guess it didn't go off, but 100 foot away makes me think that even if it did it wouldn't have hit Bush.

I heard it on the ABC evening news too.

You know what the sadest part about this probably is? Most Americans are going to think this happened in the state of Georgia on the east coast. :headbang:

The last thing in the world we need right now is for Bush to get killed. Yes he is a flaming fuck-but if he gets killed he'll be martyred and all that he's doing now will get worse. And I'm sure not ready for President Cheney.

And, even though he is a total fuck, he's also a human being. I don't want him dead, I just don't want him in charge.
