Walking down this rocky road...

Yeah.. it's a song.. ..Bad Company...

Anyway..where do you see yourself 5 yrs from now?

I'm single, no kids.. so I have no "ties". I see myself out and about as an Oceanographer. I've always been intrigued by nature in all its abundance.. especially the ocean.

So much that hasn't been touched or discovered by man.

My biggest fear in my dreams is alwyas the Ocean..not many ways to escape it . if any.. if it really gets a going. Falls over into real life too I suppose.

Damn.. I remember being asked in my high school youth where I'd be in 10 yrs.. but I didn't get what they were saying at the time. I take it most of you are where you want to be. :p That's great.

I hope to be in a place in the next five years when people won't be asking me where I will be in the future. I try to live day by day. I have no idea where I will be or where I want to be.

I just hope I will be having a great time and enjoying things.

In five years time I will be in Australia.

Five years? Well, that's a tough call. I could be on the campus of a major university. I could also be in another country. It really depends.

I do know this: I will definitely be out of this house. I cannot wait for the day I move out.

I live day by day also. Just asked to watch others travelings . or not. I have goals every now and then... I don't set them often.. but when I do.. I see them through.

Best of luck to you. I, for one, will be leaving my (idiot) brother and (dickhead) dad.

Or you could have moved out, lost everything and had to move back in. :p

True, but that's not gonna happen. You see, I'm one of the types who manages delicate situations carefully. I would make it a point not to fuck up and get placed in the same situation again.

And, on that note, I just want some Holidays in the sun.

OK boys and girls if you are ever backpacking through Australia (in five years time or now) and visit backpacker Mecca, Byron Bay you must go to CHEEKY MONKEYS backpacker's night club. It is the place for backpackers.

Indeed. There is a reason that alot of the most venomous creatures dwell there. :)

Really though.. I think it is a beautiful country with wild un-tamed places. South America has alot of un-tamed places too, but I'm not quite ready to venture there yet.

For the most part, I love snakes. And I love hiking through dangerous areas. I don't get much of that here and where I have been, but I hope one day I will be able to.

I've had to live out in the middle of nowhere... It's terrible. I know nobody and have nothing to do right now, but if I lived out in the middle of nowhere (as I did a few years back), I wouldn't even have the potential to know people or go places.

I've said it before: I'd rather live by a bunch of factories and have a lot of things to do, than live out in the "country" with nothing to do.

Eh, I can deal with most people. But, in my experience, I don't work well with others. I would like to go there to meet new people, but to still have some feeling of self respect before anyone starts judging me. And that being said, I don't care who judges me, I just don't like being treated any differently like being a foreigner.

You know what I say to those people? Fuck 'em. They wouldn't like being treated as aliens in other countries, so why do they do that to people who come to theirs? They're assholes, so don't worry about it.

But yeah.. if the wild/country or the like isnt your thang.. indeed find a city. No harm there :)

Asshole or not, nobody likes the feeling of anyone poking fun at them. Result in violent words or just ignoring them, it's still a bothersome detail on my fun trip. I will always have a good trip, but I like to be in places I want to be. And I would see the sites of the cities, but my main thing would be to see the countryside.

You can find things to do.. but it's just not your thing. I agree with ya.. ..get back to a city :)

Let a bored person stand around too long.. something bad is bound to happen. Sorta like the saying " Idle hands are the devil's work".

I know from my own personal exeperience.. If ever (rarely) I am in a situation where I get bored.. If I don't move on quikly .. I will get in trouble. I will bring it on myself or find it.. bet your bottom dollar on it.

I rarely get bored. I try to always keep myself busy with one project or another. But in a new city, there are so many things to do, dealing with someone may or may not wanting you there is not something I will deal with.

I don't get bored.. (I mean as soon as I find myself gettign bored .. I fix the situation.)

If I find myself strickened with boredom.. I'm either in a place I shoudn't be, around people I need not be around (cuz their mind thought bores me) or I'm being mentally lazy.
