Jesus Christ in legal battle to get license
"CHARLESTON, West Virginia (AP) -- Even Jesus Christ can't circumvent the rules for getting a driver's license in West Virginia"
www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/05/10/jesus.lawsuit.ap/index.html (http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/05/10/jesus.lawsuit.ap/index.html)
...the url doesn't work. :(
Isn't this blasphemy? You know, that whole "I am the Lord your God; there is no other" and "You shall worship no other gods but Me" First and Second Commandment thing?

"Christ is not speaking to anyone at this time"
Ha! Seriously though, it's frankly moronic to deny someone a name change because it may "offend people." Since when do judges have the right to decide what we call ourselves?
Personally I don't think it really matters.... but why would he do it? is he really that strange or is he just trying to be funny?
This makes me wonder if anyone has tried to change thier name to "Seemore Butts" or "IP Freely".

some people take "Jesus Christ" to be an inappropriate exlamation, so is it the same thing if a guy tried to change his name to "God Dammit"?
"Christ is moving to West Virginia to enjoy a slower lifestyle."
I guess all that "Wrath of God" stuff finally caught up with him. :D

"Do you know who my Father is, punk!? Believe me, he can make your life Hell if you don't give me what I want!!"
How about this for a headline:
"Jesus Christ denies rumors that inability to get driver's license will delay second coming"
