It matters not. I don't care what country rules me, as long as I'm alive.

We're all human, why let arbitrary borders and a false sense of belonging get in the way?

I think it's important to have local government, but I also think that nations should work together.

Nationalism makes history and politics more interesting. If we were all under one gov the only thing we could argue about is tax rates and environmental controls. booooo!

"Sovereign," like "love," means anything you want it to mean; it's a word in dictionary between "sober" and "sozzled."

In my opinion National sovereignty is probably the most important thing about a country

Sovereignity is the ability to exercise legal violence on a territory. A nationstate is defined by this, and that means that that can be the ONLY thing that's important. There hasn't been a sovereign nation of Afghanistan for some time, and look where they got with this: warlords and chaos.

Of course, a "nation" might include disparate groups of people, but this is a different problem.

I voted 3.

Care to get into the specifics? Are those of you who voted 1 against the idea of international agreements?

Do you support the "national sovereignty" of a nation to commit genocide within its borders?
