my nation was once deleted because i didn't log in for a month and forgot to go on vacation mode. other than that, no deletes.

actually, i don't think i have ever received a formal warning.

I think I was deleted once, also I remember two times declared spam.

I had 4 nations cease to exist almost simultaneously around February '04 (I first joined in December 2003), but these have since been revived (this is one of them). No rule infraction - not even one that the mods didn't notice. :p

I have neither been warned or deleted; I've been close to being warned, and I was warned once before, but it was overturned.

I've had two nations deated for inactivity (Emasculata and one other I don't remember). I have three puppets that I don't do much with.

I don't know my official record with the Mods, but I can recall one warning that was soon retracted.

I've been deleted for:

-taking over and destroying a nazi region

-making threatening comments to a nazi (I told them to jump off a bridge and save us the hassle)

-having an offensive anti-nazi motto.

I probably should have been deleted 10x by now!! :p

On the forums I have never been deleted, and as far as I know, never recieved an official warning. I've had 'friendly warnings' and at least one thread I could have been warned in was closed with a note from the moderator saying that they were 'too tired' to dish out warnings.

Amazingly, I have a clean record as far as I'm aware.

Nope. Only reason I've ever been deleted anywhere on the internet is due to not logging in enough (my former hotmail account got wiped for that reason).

I probably still have about 30 or so email accounts floating around the internet though.

You didn't get warned, you just got edited. I didn't realize why you were ignoring your telegrams, so I just cleaned it up for you.

If your sig is bigger than your average post, it's too big. Eight lines is the limit, and please avoid those damn huge fonts. People should also avoid quote boxes, as even quoting a single word takes up five of your eight lines.

nope I am a non-DEAT so far - you need to keep a better eye on me. please someone pay attention to me.

I was going to ask if giving NS up for 40 days and coming back to find my account gone counted as being deleted, but the poll question was a bit more obvious.

Me, I've never been deleted, never even had a week-long lockout. I got unofficially warned once, but I generally know the bounds of the rules on NS.

Other than all of the puppets that I've lost due to inactivity, never; I don't recall any warnings, either, except for some IRC-related indiscretions that aren't considered NationStates warnings. Of course, being a Moderation Forum reader since shortly after it was created helps with rules knowledge.

Nightfox, Sanctaphrax and New Sanctaphrax, my only three nations, and all still alive and well. I got a warning for:

I haven't to be honest the rules are quite forward enough, you'd really have wanted to go over board if you get kicked out.

There's no need to post this in multiple threads. You made a thread of it in moderation Here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=418330), and they will get to it when they have the time. Katganistan asked you a legitimate question, which could help you understand why you were deleted. I suggest checking the thread again.

I've never had a nation deleted, recieved any warnings (official or unofficial) or had contact with any moderators (in a bad way). I have had about 5 nations go inactive but I don't count them as deletions.

I guess thats not bad as I've been playing this game on and off for nearly 2 years. The mods don't know I exist and I intend to keep it that way :).

Not yet. However, Ardchoille once got a shiny new penny from Fris. Should the occasion arise, I plan to produce it -- possibly at the very foot of the gallows, or just as the Citizen Prosecutor reaches a triumphant conclusion -- as a token to prove that I am really a Double Agent. Or perhaps a Lost Heir.

You may have misinterpreted the graph. Roughly 10% have had at least one account deleted, while roughly 90% have not run afoul of the rules.

Of course, some folks are bound and determined to skew the statistics.

Now, it has 24 "yes", 219 "no", with 24 being 9.88%.

But 24 / 219 is 11%. :mad:

You can't even say that non-voters count as part of the percentage, because 90.12 + 9.88 = 100%.

And it says there were 243 voters. 219 + 24 = 243. I've refreshed this screen several times, to see if the votes were taken into account, but just not recorded (if it was lagging), but it's been several minutes and the messed up percentage is still there.
