The only Icelandic music I've heard is Sigur Ros. They are actually pretty good.

I'm more of a fan of the Sugarcubes than Bjork, but she's had some great songs as well. I first saw the Sugarcubes on Saturday Night Live in the mid/late 80s and was just enthralled by the sound...and was very sad when they broke up.

You can blame Björk for that. She is living a rich mans life and the rest of the band is here. She even left her son here with his father.
