I though the parade in Red Square was nothing less than brilliant. Lines and lines of Russian soldiers in perfect precision! MiG fly bys! Armoured coulmns!
Just curous as to everyone else's thoughts.
We didn't have any parades here in the UK, I think the government decided not to have any for some reason.

True, true. But I think the government actually forbode any parades at all. I mean there was a Cadet parade in my home town to commemorate D-Day, but nothing for VE Day. Quizzical.

Theres one half way between VE day and VJ day to get the whole end of WW2 stuff out of the way in one.
