Some sort of chicken based dish?

A whole chicken, or cutlets, or pieces?

With a whole chicken, you could stuff the cavity with a lemon (pierced by a fork) and season the outside and roast it.

With cutlets you could bread them, fry them, and pour bottled tomato sauce over them. Then bake them a little bit. (cheese on top would be good)

If they are pieces, deep fry them, or boil them with onion, celery, carrots and potatoes for soup.

(there are millions of recipes on the internet, btw.....)

i have cutlets. soup i regard more of a starter. i'm in the mood for something that's not fried in fat and served with ketchup. i could always go to a chippie for that if i wanted it. and, technically, i'm looking on the internet right now.

I'd go with a cold pasta salad. Easy enough, and refreshing. Be sure to mix maïs into it.

Then you could broil them with a bit of lemon juice over the top, served alongside some crisp greens with a bit of vinegar and oil.

What I mean is there are recipes sites out there. Suggestion: go to your browser, and type "recipe chicken [other ingredient] [other ingredient]"

I'm sure you'll find one FAR more efficiently than simply saying "I have chicken, what do I do?" ;)

(and he who would cook chicken in KETCHUP is an abomination unto the L O R D*)

Really nice. Sprinkle your chicken with salt and pepper and wrap in tin foil and bung it in the oven and bake for 45 minutes. Serve with those chips from the chipper, or with salad, roasts (McCain Home Roasts to make dinner easy) or mash. Or rice and your choice of sauce...

What college are you at? I finished up in Maynooth last year, I miss college so much....

Gawd, I haven't cooked chook for the longest time.

1) Hack the chicken to bits.
2) Fry the little bits of chicken up till it's nice and lightly browned on the outside and tender on the inside.
3) Boil up some pasta and put it aside.
4) Open a tin of Cream-of-Something soup (Cream of Asparagus or Cream of Mushroom work pretty well.) and slop it into the pan, covering the cooked chicken.
5) Add the pasta and heat it all through. Then eat it.

Or, if you have some spare time, marinate the chicken bits in honey and soy sauce, fry them in a hot pan with a bit of sesame oil and garlic, chop up some veg and chuck that in, and add a smidgin of water just to make gravy and stop it drying out.

Boil them alive then, maybe actually simmer them, that way you can watch them squirm for longer
