I took the SATs and ended up with a 1060, but if you knew me personally, you'd see I'm much more intelligent than that test makes me out to be. Don't sweat it, do your best and everything will work out anyway.

I did about 90 points better on the SAT than the PSAT (with about a year between them). I think most people improve on the PSAT scores in the actual SAT.

Hey, you got roughly the same scores I did.

I went from 1250 to 1350...

For the most part, who cares? Once you get IN a college, any college, that score loses all meaning.

Oh and remember, get sleep the day before the test. Don't be an idiot like me and work a midnight shift before showing up to the darn test. I almost fell asleep after every break period.

I went from a 1270 PSAT to a 1320 SAT.

It does change, but odds are that you're not going to suddenly double your knowledge of complex mathmatics and mastery of the English language between the two tests.

When I took the SAT for the first time, my score jumped about 100 points from my PSAT scores. Just remember SAT scores are the only determining factor for college admissions.

What are SAT and PSAT, just out of interest

Standard Aptitude Test: It measures your aptitudes in linguistics and mathematics. I believe the SATII also has something things about math and hsitory in there.
PSAT: This is a precursor to the SAT like a test run. It's a gauge of how well you will or will not do on the actual SAT

Do you get a score for each subject or an average?

When I took the SATs 2 years ago, all it did was test your knowledge of how to take the SAT.

I didn't score perfect on math because it had only basic geometry on the damn test. I was in AP Calculus at the time, didn't recall most of that crap. Didn't care to review it either...

Now they have an essay right? That's the kind of stuff I would have liked.
