Is Fluggen flipping your national pastime?
I don't know what "Fluggen flipping" is. Care to explain?
I'd still like to know, actually.

Why, I'd never dream of trying to pull a fast one by the nice people at Skatteverket (Swedish IRS). These people, who have eyes and ears everywhere, should be lauded for the good they do in collecting what is them due.

What??

Well I searched for Fluggen flipping and only found Flaggen flipping. Unfortunately, all the pages were in SWEDISH a language I know nothing about. How do you say hello in Swedish anyone?

Is it "Hej"? I think it might be.
Nowhere near sure though.

Hello = Hej. The e is pronounced like the "e" in "merry", and the j is pronounced like the "y" in "yellow".
The search results that come up on "flaggen flipping" are not in Swedish, but mostly in German and just seem to contain the two words independantly of one another. "Flaggan flipping" gives one Swedish result, but here again it's just because the two words are found on the same page. "Flaggan" is Swedish for "the flag" and "flipping" isn't even a Swedish word.

Can you post the link? Flaggen is just related to flag - the thing you fly on a pole.

Thank you. I didn't look at my search results very closely obviously. I was like language I don't know! Back up slowly and walk away...I know only slightly more German than I do Swedish.

"Jag tror att den här mannen gillar att bajsa från munnen."
"Think" = "tänka", yes, but here your "think" is closer to meaning "believe" and thus it becomes "tro".
"Like" as a verb is "gillar". "Like" as an adjective or adverb is "lik, liksom".
"Shit" = "skita", but I used the verb "bajsa" which means "poop" as there is an actual Swedish expression that goes "ordbajsa", which loosely translated means "poop words".
"From his mouth" = "från hans mun", yes, but when it comes to words designating parts of the body, the definite form of just the noun without the possesive pronoun is used, thus "munnen". "Hans mun" also means "his mouth" as in some other guy's mouth. "Sin mun" would mean his own mouth.

Well you're welcome to live here. The penguins are awfully hard to farm. The polar bears tend to be a lot more cooperative.

That looks like Spanish to me... It's certainly not Swedish.
I believe you are trying to say something like "The bear is in the kitchen with bread and jam(not sure about that last bit, I don't believe I've heard "jamon" used before). It eats the bread, but the bear doesn't eat meat, because he loves the other animals."

lol. You're pretty good. I made a typo though. "Cocino" needs to be "cocina" because the kitchen is a girl as opposed to having a penis. It says (or is supposed to say. it's been many years since spanish class) "The bear is in the kitchen with bread and ham. He eats the bread but the bear does not eat meat because he loves the animals."

Well, while I used to live right next to the headquarters of Migrationsverket (Swedish INS) when I lived in Norrköping, my pull on them remained feeble at best.
But don't knock my invitation! If someone here would invite you and vouche for your stay, you could actually stay quite a considerable time. But then again, I don't think Americans have that hard of a time getting visas.

I'm actually a UK Citizen and someday I'll be an MD (hopefully - in fact I should be studying right now) which will probably work in my favour.

You can come tomorrow as a fellow EU citizen and work here also... no need for a visa

As an EU citizen you can come here to work and live basically at your leasure. No visas, almost no nothing.
And, yeah, you're not the only future MD that's supposed to be studying. Final exams in two weeks! *eek!*
