So what's everyone up to at the weekend then?

Me, I'm going to a party tonight then doing a 5K run to raise money for Cancer Research on Sunday, when hopefully all the alcohol from Friday will be out of my system!

Saturday and Sunday will go the usual way... Next to nothing in the way of fun, with nobody to talk to. Haha.

Friday - Helping my roommate's parents move
Saturday - Playing Dungeons and Dragons because, yes, I am that much of a dork

my nan is away for the weekend so i get her flat all to myself so i'm having a little 'sleepover' with my geeks tonight, we'll just watch films, eat pizza and get rather drunk then pass out on the sofas/floor, then tomorrow night i have to babysit my brother and his friend, i hate my brother's friends, cooking for and tidying up after 14 year old boys is not my idea of a fun Saturday night

friday- 8 am study session for history. belated celebration of Cinco De Mayo, in which i shall drink a great deal of corona, and, when i get back home, probably drunkenly tell several of my single female friends that i want to have lots and lots of sex with them. this is not a plan, per se, merely an acceptance of an inevitability.
sat- be hung over. tell several of my now more amused female friends that though i may well want to have lots and lots of sex with them, i didn't want to put it like that. then go to health center maybe, get meningitis shot.
sun- study?

I have a party to perform at. I also have my nephew's birthday party to attend. I have to work at the casino sunday night. :( I'm going to go see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'm probably going to tackle some random shrubbery. I'm also going to spend a considerable amount of the intervening time playing City of Heroes. :)

Yes, yes, it is! A friend of mine gets paid $20 a night to watch his two sisters when his parents are out. $20 isn't much, but it's still more than nothing!

I'm screening footage for one project and continuing to compile and edit footage for another. The rest of the weekend will be spent trying to gnaw my arm off while I sit through the 'tech' process.

Which is an upgrade from the fat lot of nothing I would normally do. So except for some of the tedium associated with what I have to do, I'm pretty happy with that.

Now, if they where my projects...and I was getting paid for them...

yeah, when i use to babysit for friends of my parents i used to get £30 for like 4 hours but my mum refuses to pay me, although i shouldn't really moan, she does give me money to go to the cinema and stuff
