no offence but i think techno is the most awful kind of 'music' (if you can even call it that) that I have ever had the misfortune of hearing, I can listen to nearly every kind of music from rap and hip-hop to rock but techno just makes me want to bang my head against a brick wall repeatedly (like so :headbang: ) until I pass out

Well, right now i'm listening to an industrial/rap/hardcore/electronic group called Corporate Avenger. It's unique. lol
Though I like The Prodigy too...who are techno, I guess :)
I'm not big on the whole electronic genre, but it can be cool when done well. I should get into more stuff.
its a style of music that you just have to get into. I like going to raves. but i dont really have that great of a choice because of where i live.

Hmm, well, I don't see myself enjoying a rave without drugs, and i've stopped them. I'm picky about the music I listen to, so I don't really enjoy clubs...they usually turn into a lump of shit music with one or two good songs in the whole night if i'm lucky. I go to places for the music now, not the party kinda feel.

I haven't heard their new album, but "Freedom is a State of Mind" is definitely worth a listen. I had to import it, because I think it was only released in the USA. You should be able to download some tracks on a P2P program, that's where I first discovered them...way back when Napster still worked :p
It's not really "techno" though...the best way I could describe it now that I think about it is "Electronic Punk Rap". :D
As an added bonus, they're Native American tribal anarchists. How could you not love that?
