It will be interesting to see (if Karl is convicted) whether the BNP publically supports the use of the death penalty in this case.

I doubt they will get the opportunity to call for it. The UK has completely abolished the death penalty.

Then this situation would be a great opportunity for the BNP. They could try to get the death penalty reinstated and show that they are a party of consistent principles at the same time. ;)

Nick Griffin, leader of the BNP, has already been charged with incitement of racial hatred and many of them have served sentences for racially motivated crime.

I think we should all join together in thanks that the BNP make racist policies in British politicals so utterly without credibility.

The whole party is a complete joke.

Labour candidate Barry Sheerman, who is hoping to retain the seat, said he was "disturbed" that someone with serious charges hanging over them would be standing for election.

last week we debated with some BNP supporter on here who was claiming he was voting for them because muslims had attacked his local church with swords!!!!!
He wouldn't tell us where he was or give a news reference and no-one could find one or had heard of it but he had some support from other posters.
OK that kind of thing doesn't wash on the internet cos you can check news archives really quickly but it's the kind of propaganda that woked well for the Nazi's against the jews.

It's very easy when a man is out of work, maybe because he's unemployable, unreliable or untrustworthy to tell him it's because an immegrant has got his job. No one likes to think these things are their own fault and when major parties lke the Tories raise immegration as a serious vote winning issue the BNP can jump on the back of that and it gives more credence to their arguments.
They should be banned as a party but that would remove their freedom to be hatefilled bigots :mad:

My analogy regarding the destruction of National Socialism and Fascism was no rallying call for the BNP being banned. I am fully in favour of them practicing their outmoded beliefs; it is their democratic and civil right. What I meant to say was that I hope such beliefs piffle away into oblivion as people realise the irrelevance and the moronic nature of that party.
