I'm off to work now. I clean, and set up tables at a conference center. Just to have a mess, and have to tear the tables down the next day. Lame.

Who else has lame jobs?

I sell tickets for a non-profit. Bratty batty old rich new agey types pretending to be all into whatever random thing is going on.

Actually it's not that bad, some of the stuff we sell tickets for is pretty kick ass and no way I'd know about it unless I worked there.

BUT-just a little sick of having jobs I could have got when I was 18. Unfortunately my BA is in Film....

Hey with a BA in film be thankful your not sweeping floors! Here's an idea, why don't you get a masters in TV! Or a doctorates in radio!

After spending my twenties on your fundamental career path, I decided to stop starving and become a technician. I now repair all sorts of complex Biomed stuff. Yes I have one of those high tech high wage jobs of the future the politicians are allways talking about.

The funny thing is even though lives hang on the line of my job skills my wage takes me just barely on the poverty line. I actualy qualify for earned encome credit. Maybe it's not too late to get that BA in Film. :p

Where abouts do you works as a biomed technician?

In the UK there's a big drive for training, you could probably get trained as a medical physicist or medical engineer and then earn a reasonable wage.

I work in a pizza place in a grocery store.

I'm going to quit in September (unless I find a better job before then) and try tutoring highschool kids.

I'm working towards a BSc. in physics. I think I'm going to do a BA in philosophy after this though.

I love my job, but my previous job was lame. Cutting cucumbers all day. And those plants are scratchy. And it gets really tropic in summer. And the boss is an arse
