That's not the thing with the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything is it? It drives me nuts when that commercial goes by because I'm convinced I'm not hearing that right. If I am it's even more horrifying, sending me into a spiral of self-doubt and dispare for all that is right with this world.

Or, you know-striking me as odd. One of those...

I have not seen them, nor do I wish to.

For it seems that one of them bears my name; and for an entire year of college I had to listen to this group make endless references to Veggie Tales, and the various similarities and differences between myself and this character.

I am scarred for life from Veggie Tales, and its a damn good thing I'm lazy or else I'd start planning some instructional-type revenge on the creators AND those kids.

I love them! They are the funniest things. Of course you have to watch one over and over and over because you miss the little things they put in. Some of the best parts are just the little things they put in.

ihave every one of them at my house...every single freakin one..they are cute, funny, if you really listen you pick up the jokes....like in Dave and the Giant Pickle, david starts singing to saul, and saul says "you're not going to sing are you? Couldn;t you just play your harp and i'll throw things at you?" I think that is hilarious, of cource you have to know a it about the bible to understand that one....

I despise Veggie Tales with a passion.

I consider it a form of abuse, as well as just plain dishonesty, to try to package propoganda as children's entertainment.

My third oldest grandson ( 18 months old ) always starts dancing when he hears the Veggie-Tale theme start. :)

Bear in mind that said song comes a segment entitled "Silly Songs with Larry: The Part of the Show where Larry comes out and sings a Silly Song." It's not supposed to make sense. Check out "The Water Buffalo Song" for further explanation.

Some of the Veggie-Tales stuff is funny, but then again some it just downright dumb.

I feel your pain, Straughn. An old roommate of mine has a Veggie Tales toy. It's a fuzzy cucumber. That talks. It's just so... phallic.... >.>

Yeah, I admit that I have watched it before. I always liked the Cheeseburger Song.

I was forced to watch it, and loathed it.

I was forced to watch it at my old school, which was christian. I was just happy to be watching a cartoon instead of hearing a Bible reading.
