True, but in no other region have I had such horrible food. The South *does* have good food, but I'm just saying that the bad food really brings it down.

I'm pretty sure I read that the Big Brother show was an import from someplace in Northern Europe. The concept behind Survivor, too.

Good: Guns everywhere, so America can prevent the rise of the next Hitler Sadam or Jean Cretien- whoever wants gun registry and discrimination against and elimination of minorities.

Bad:Americains are too rapped up in leader worship to realise that they are becoming fanatical minority haters.

Really, I had never heard that statistic. I wonder how many women would be helped out be a gun. It seems that an unarmed attacker would rely on the element of surprise, and in that case a gun would be useless.

I haven't seen either though. Reality TV isn't that big in here. What I've seen is "survivor", "idol", "the bachelor" and some seriously messed up shit called "the swan". All american.

Department of Justice. Also, most men who are stalking and abusing women don't use a weapon. It's a domination thing - purely psychological - they don't get the same satisfaction unless they use their hands.

The women I've trained (for protection against domestic abuse and stalking) are so far experiencing a life free of attack - zero incidents. It may be because the man has been disarmed by the police when the protective order was served - he can't buy another one - and he knows she has a gun. Besides, he wants to beat her. With his hands.

Women who rely solely on a protective order and the police tend to be killed or assaulted repeatedly. Once again, a psychological thing - once you get a protective order, the man takes it as a personal affront, and must get even.

Almost any idiot that is capable of fluent english can file a lawsuit and in most situations win.

Some of the laws are crap.

We have a show in England called ADC (Americas Dumbest Criminals) and there is a section that says some of the worst laws.

In one state (can't remember which one) it is illegal for children to have unusual haircuts.
