Subs are always good. Or...maybe something from the chines or Japanese take-out. Do you have a Man Chew Wok or a Terriyaki Experience near you? Or...Greek take-out is always good!

its funny thats my dilema right now. I could have left over pizza, which I like cold. A ham salami and provolone sandwich, but I'm too lazy to make it. I'll wait for my wife to get home. She'll make it.

Cut up some lettuce. Squeeze lemon on it and drizzle some olive oil, then salt to taste and mix up nicely. Grab a can of tuna (open it up dummy!) and empty it into a bowl. Cut up some onions, very fine, a bit of garlic, some cilantro, squeeze some lemon over it, grind some pepper into it, add mayo and mix. Put the lettuce on a plate, and make a little circle in the middle of it. Spoon the tuna mixture into the centre. Peel an avocado, take out the pit, and cut it into wedges. Place the wedges artistically on top of the lettuce, around the tuna. Admire your creation, then pig out. It's heavenly!

check out the BBQ thread- someone was discussing a food made of "fungal based protein" cultured in a vat.

I would have read more, but threw up kimchee on my shoes.

The last time I made tuna salad, I used salsa instead of mayo. It is really good. Served on a toasted english muffin, with a slice of cheese to help hold it all together.

Thank you all for your excellent suggestions. I've made a decision. I'm ordering a "Garlic Pizza Steak Wrap" from the local cheesesteak takeout place.

Wipe it's bum, lop its horns off, and walk it past the fire.

Thats how I like it. I dont even like tenderloin all that much. Its way too tender for my taste. My favorite is flank or skirt steak.I like meat with a little more flavor and texture. And I love carpaccio!

I like cheddar cheese too-a little on the sharp side.

If you like spicy Indian food, and have an Indian restaurant nearby, I'd go for Chicken Makhani (spicy) with some garlic naan and a mango lassi to drink. Yum!

No, I don't know of any Indian restaurants near my work. There are several close enough to my home though.
