The solution to global warming may be here as well with a sure fire way to cut funding to terrorist organizations, and a great way to encourage alternate sources of energy. www.vheadline.com/readnews.asp?id=32183

Two or three weeks ago a very small notice passed (U.S.) that Saudi's largest field had already topped and declined ....
So, to be fair and balanced, what does JesusSaves think of all this?

The mohomeden arabs are faking to be out of oil because they want to rais prices so they can give it to Osamma ben Louden. The oil wont run out because the United State needs it. Jesus has made sure that we wont run out till he comes back.

Great idea DCR - but what about the SUV owners? They won't part with their beloved SUVs; they'd much rather support terror.

Biodiesel.

Hydrolized coal (used by the Germans in WWII as a substitute for natural oil-based petrol)

Shale Extraction.

More Nuclear Power?

And yet, strangely, the States gets more of its oil from NORTH of its border... And other countries besides Saudia Arabia and a couple of other Arab countries.

I'm confused, is this [jesussaves] thing a joke or is it just silly American Evanguilism again, the whole America is ordained by God thing.

I can't spell, but neither could Shakespeare

It's an inside joke. Jesussaves was a parody on Christian Americans.

First off, Shakespheare was a genius!

Secondly, [jesussaves] was a joke. And it's Evangelism.

Jesussaves was a puppet nation I created a few months ago to post crazy pseudo-christian rants with. It got deleted, and so did my old nation. Now when I get the urge to post such idiotic ramblings I label them with [Jesussaves] to indicate that it's my stupid, fundamentalist alter ego speaking.

Nuclear Power is the cleanest and most effecient of the non-renewable energy sources we have today.
Waste is produced, but it is solid and far less than coal or oil pollution. What's more, the uranium peak hasn't been reached yet and isn't going to be for quite a long time.

I agree that Nuclear does seem like kind of a good idea, especially when compared to oil and coal.

Problem:
There are two parts of the Nuclear cycle we haven't figured out yet. 1. Long-term waste storage (i.e. until it's no longer radioactive). 2. Ore re-processing (to reclaim uranium and/or other fissionable materials that remain in spent fuel rods).

The long-term wast storage part is really damning. Where are we going to keep all that radioactive waste? It may be solid, so we can contain it, but contain it where? It's more toxic than any old diesel tailpipe.

How about just embedding it in concrete and burying it deep in a desert somewhere?

Concrete disintegrates.
By then it'll be somebody else's problem.
