Why is it that girls are considered sluts and guys considered Pros

lol trying to be equal is like a normal guy trying to date Lindsey Lohan, just becuae he's not famous he should have the chance but it will NEVER happen

so girls and guys needs to just forget about it, we all have our advatages and disadvantages.

Honestly i don't think it's that unfair, though it is not completly right either

Heres the thing......Girls can Easily...i mean EASILY!! get their way, they don't have to look good jsut have a body.

generally it's easier for a girl to get laid than a guy,...simply because of guys hormones....IT's easy.
Not all the time i realize that sluts is jsut a name society give them.

but

how many 14 year girls do you know dating 18 and 22 year olds? ....uuuh like half the population. girls girls have the Power they can do that.

but how many 14year old Guys do you know dating women 7 to 10 years odler than them?...uuuh not many.

Girls are more likely to be loyal to their husband than guys and sicne their hormornes are that high they can easily reject sex even if they are in the mood.

THink about it this way

with a guy he can't even ask a girl he's known for years to have sex ...just once!! he's been waitng patently respecting her and all and he gets rejected like a gothic trying to enter a American beauty contest

while a girl can meet a guy who is married has a girlfriend is a teacher or engaged meet them for 5 minutes and have sex......Just like that.

So why should a girl be considered a pro if they can do it so easily?

even hot guys can't score with other HOT GIRLS as a matter of fact they can't even score with some ugly girls, becuase most ugly girls have high standards and better morales.
some ugly girls accept it and tell her friends she ahd sex witha preppy guy. but it's mroe of the vise versa

NOW a HOT GIRL, now it;s a whole new ball game

They can sleep with an ugly guy.......with ZERO resistence, they can't alwas get guys becuase some guys are loyal too but the majority can.

::SIGH:: i rest my case

that is why having sex with a teacher.....guys should win a a freakin Medal!

bottom line it's ntor gith to call girls sluts. it's not rigth at all guys can have sex and talk about to their friends with no problems as with girls thy have sex with a guy, if she says too much there will be gossip.

NO one is saying it is right

i'm just explaining WHY they are called what they are

Girls, in general, are considered as sluts. If they have sex with more than one guy during their teenage years they are sluts. And if a girl turns you down, she's a slut. (something that has always confused me a lot)

who really cares?! people can call me a slut all they want, I know it's not true, people only get upset about things that they think are true so a woman is only gonna get upset about being called a slut if she thinks it's true, and if that happens she should reconsider her lifestyle, someone calling her a slut has actually done her a favour

I don't think it's pointless. It is a problem that every single teenager has to face in some point. The word slut (or whore) is the main problem, you can't really discuss about it without using those words.

It may be a double standard to judge differently by gender those who have a lot of casual sex - but to be fair, you have to factor in the degree of difficulty.

Even a very plain looking girl can get laid within 15 minutes by simply walking down to the pub and announcing: "alright... who wants to have a go?"

In comparison - even the most rich, handsome and powerful men still have to expend a great bit of effort and time to get laid.

So... a girl being promiscuous can be seen as a form of gluttony - it's as easy as pie. Conversely, for men it's a reflection of their skill in attaining a sometimes difficult objective.

Your thread was a little rambly and incoherent, so I'm assuming that perhaps you're disillusioned with the obvious, superficial gender equality that you're experiencing at school. I'll make it clear to you. Basically, the answer to your rhetoric is that girls who use their body to obtain goals are little more than domestic animals. I could go all whinging-sympathiser here, but I won't. The distinction must be made between girls who use their body to get what they want, and girls who use their intelligence and character.
In our cultural hangover of patriachal sexism, guys can happily pursue sexual encounters with little chance of disapproval. Girls are, even now, still not allowed this freedom from social constraints. Subsequently, the sexual conquest of a girl is seen as a valued prize. Through a history of women having only their sexuality to bargain favours from men, women too have come to value their sexuality as a prize to be doled out economically. To give up the sexual prize to every guy who looks at you is to devalue yourself. You're hot stuff when you're brand new (virginal), but if you're pre-loved, your value is less, and you're labelled a slut. I hope that answers your first question. Maybe this sex-value thing will change over the next few decades. One can only hope.
Your assumption that girls can easily get their way because they have female bodies is not entirely accurate. It applies only to those girls who are willing to whore themselves to achieve their goals. This isn't evidence of power in female sexuality, but merely whoring manipulation. If you can look past the tacky makeup and polyester Supre ensemble, you'll see that. Girls who choose to rely exlusively on that aspect of their person to achive their goals are not well-rounded or interesting. They know their chief value lies in their pussy, at the expence of their intelligence and personality.
14 year old girls who date guys in their 20s are getting the following deal: A partner who will dominate them socially and sexually, who might buy them off with presents, and who probably is avoided by women his own age because he's a freakin' paedophile who likes 14 year old little girls. Alternatively, the guy in his 20s is getting: Someone he can control because he's got no idea how adult relationships work and is frequently regected by potential adult partners, someone possibly disease free, and someone who is too young and naive to complain much when she's raped. I remember in high school when girls with older guys seemed so much cooler than the rest of us, but from the perspective of an adult, that 14 year old is just some stupid kid, and that 20-something guy is some freak that no sane adult woman would touch. That 14 year old kid isn't demonstrating any power through having a female body. She's just a stupid victim.
Girls are more likely to be loyal to their husband than guys and sicne their hormornes are that high they can easily reject sex even if they are in the mood.
You've swallowed the myth that women are non-sexual beings unless they are "in the mood." When you finish puberty and meet a few women, that will change.
with a guy he can't even ask a girl he's known for years to have sex ...just once!! he's been waitng patently respecting her and all and he gets rejected like a gothic trying to enter a American beauty contest...while a girl can meet a guy who is married has a girlfriend is a teacher or engaged meet them for 5 minutes and have sex......Just like that.
Firstly, if this guy's "respecting" this girl for all this time, with no other motive than to get some pussy, he's a shallow idiot. Sex is not something to be traded, whether it be for respect or a The Price Is Right Prize Showcase. The whole trade in sex is what lead to the sex-value-devalue-slut thing I mentioned earlier. Sex is something people do, either for love or for just plain fun. It's not something that you buy, unless you're that despo 20-something freak I also mentioned earlier. Only horny, pimply, awkward teenagers fall for that drivel about the poor guy who couldn't get laid 'cause all his "respecting" wasn't good enough for the girl. It's a myth.
even hot guys can't score with other HOT GIRLS as a matter of fact they can't even score with some ugly girls, becuase most ugly girls have high standards and better morales.
some ugly girls accept it and tell her friends she ahd sex witha preppy guy. but it's mroe of the vise versa.
Being hot doesn't really correlate with being an easy root. I knew lots of people at my school who were attractive and not having sex. (Yes, it was a state school, so there were no religious morals enforced). Your tendency to classify people in such blatantly offensive ways is probably why the girl you were "respecting" turned you down. You seem to be seeing the world in a shallow, black and white manner. Hot vs Ugly, Girls vs Guys.
NOW a HOT GIRL, now it;s a whole new ball game ... They can sleep with an ugly guy.......with ZERO resistence, they can't alwas get guys becuase some guys are loyal too but the majority can. Some more of the same.
bottom line it's ntor gith to call girls sluts. it's not rigth at all guys can have sex and talk about to their friends with no problems as with girls thy have sex with a guy, if she says too much there will be gossip. I agree, but I think that your language speaks volumes about your attitude toward it. When you stop labelling those sexually active guys as "pros" and those sexually active girls as "sluts," you start changing your reactions to the behaviour, because you're rejecting the social norms that have imposed themselves on sexual behaviour.
i'm just explaining WHY they are called what they are. You haven't actually explained anything. Your post was a jumbled, incoherent mess, which posed not explanations, but scenarios and rhetorical questions. Best of luck in your future posts.

I never really have any problems with getting women due to the fact that I'm always being approached. The fault may lie in the fact that I live in Miami, a city filled with highly promiscuous people, women and men alike. The thing that puzzles me is I'm never hit on by females my age, I'm constantly being invited back to the places of 30-40 year old women that I've just met in the supermarket or at the gym and I'm only 17! I for one would not have sex with tink. I think she is extremely attractive, and a whole lot of fun besides that. Yet I still wouldn't. Why? Lots of reasons, I'm in a long term relationship, I belive sex out of wedlock is a sin, and various others. But then again, there are people who like airheads like this Hilton chick.

Personally I think sex is over-rated and well, it's everywhere, it's like beating a dead horse.. it's usually just cheap anymore, nothing special or romantic, the way it's usually sold is just in-out-bye, or take any movie, the usual events that lead to sex are "Let's fuck". Bah...

Sure, I could get far with just the body, but why would I want to be like Hilton, Gellar or Pam Anderson?

I'll have a guess, and it's a bit of a generalization, but here goes:

You're 17. You're likely reasonably hot, nice body, whatever. Okay. The 17-year-old girls aren't interested because they want the material advantage of the older sugar-daddy types who get all weak-kneed at jailbait girls who are easy to buy off and not smarter than they are (see Boodicka's excellent post for more elaboration).

The 30-40 year-olds are likely married or divorced or jaded in some other way that makes them long for the simple rutting that you potentially represent. Minimal commitment, minimal maintenance, maximum shagging.

Yes that does fit together quite nicely, I would also like to factor in the aspect of my intellectual capacity. My intelligence turns girls off because I can't have a conversation about mindless drivel for more than 0.68 seconds, and that's mostly what girls down here talk about.

Tink, my recommendation is to try hanging around your nearest college for awhile. The eligible and intelligent bachelors will be close, and in no specific age range (15 year old geniuses to 35 year old master's students). I suggest pot smoking as a way of loosening the inhibitions of one that you are interested in. The eligible and intelligent bachelors will be close, and in no specific age range (15 year old geniuses to 35 year old master's students). I suggest pot smoking as a way of loosening the inhibitions of one that you are interested in. Booze just equates too many problems, and there really isn't anything un-sexy that can be said when stoned. Anywho, that seems to work for some people.
i went to college for a few months and had no luck whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about getting no action, I'm perfectly happy to wait until i'm in a relationship with a nice guy and i'm not about to make him smoke pot so i can seduce him

hehe attention seeker...Haven't Pure Metal etc not said enough compliments today? ;)
You know you're attractive.

but if you still live in some small village (can't remember) I'm afraid that your problem won't be solved in near future. Unfortunately none of those 5 boys living in the area are not going to transform into knight in shining armor over one night.

Yes that does fit together quite nicely, I would also like to factor in the aspect of my intellectual capacity. My intelligence turns girls off because I can't have a conversation about mindless drivel for more than 0.68 seconds, and that's mostly what girls down here talk about.

No my dear, I would not say it is an "annoying attitude". It is an opinion which I obtained from countless observations and experiences pertaining to the subjects that females located IN MY AREA(not in general) converse about. I have a large amount of respect for females, I slap guys who call them "bitches" or "whores". The girls around my age here are quite ignorant(same goes for the guys) due to the lack of education in the public schools and over exposure to popular media.

There you go. That's why men have that extra degree of difficulty - most women have standards much higher than men. It really has nothing to do with morality or ethics - it's all about biological reproduction strategies.

A woman can produce a very limited number of children in her lifetime. A man, however, has almost no limitation on his number of offspring. The best reproductive strategy for a man is to impregnate as many as possible as often as possible. The best reproduction strategy for a woman is to pick very carefully the man who will provide seed and support.

Even though these strategies are moot for purely recreational sex, it doesn't matter. These urges are hard-wired into us and effect our sexual behavior.

Haha, and how old are you? Age can't possibly be an indication in all circumstances of intelligence. I'm constantly underestimated and whisked aside and considered a "stupid teen" when people in actuality have no clue who I am or what I am capable of accomplishing. I've been through a lot of shit in my 17 years of life and I have learned lessons from them. The education I recieved is far superior than the public educational system. Those two factors alone are what allow me to fabricate an opinion worth taking seriously.

When I am at home instead of in the dorms, I can look out my back window and count cows(15 last I was home), prarie dogs(I lied to many to count), and trees(0). You live next to howhere. I wouldn't say it to imply self promotion or to rub it in people's faces, I was merely trying to offer explanations to my problem. When did I ever say I was the ONLY intellectual person in my area? Haha, and how old are you? Age can't possibly be an indication in all circumstances of intelligence. I'm constantly underestimated and whisked aside and considered a "stupid teen" when people in actuality have no clue who I am or what I am capable of accomplishing. I've been through a lot of shit in my 17 years of life and I have learned lessons from them. The education I recieved is far superior than the public educational system. Those two factors alone are what allow me to fabricate an opinion worth taking seriously.

Agreed that nobody should assume that 17=stupid. Stupidity is something that can only be proven by an individual through their actions and words.

That said, your actual words...which is to say, your vocabulary...is very impressive. Which menas precisely nothing. If this is how you walk up to someone to try and strike up a conversation, you deserve the isolation you've earned. It may even be true that you're smarter than the majority of those around you, but that doesn't make it attractive.

Intelligence without wisdom has the capacity to be everything from mildly annoying to vicious and even deadly. Think of intelligence as an expensive new watch: if you walk around to everyone and announce the time and make a fuss over your watch, people are going to think you're an asshole -- or at least really vain.

Conversely, if you only show the watch when you need to see it or (better yet) when someone ASKS you what time it is, then it becomes something that gets noticed on others' terms. I know of nobody who enjoys being assumed inferior (well...I know they're out there, but still...), and of those who don't enjoy it, many will in fact take offense at it. Do you or did you get picked on or feel socially ostracized? I know I did. And it was because I felt just like you did -- my intelligence made me different and those who didn't understand, agree, or share my level of understanding weren't worth my respect. Well, being twice your age, I grew to understand that intelligence comes in many guises and can knock you on your ass if you assume it's not there.

You feel defensive, I'll wager, at all these older people telling you stuff like this. We only tell you because we've been there. We no more expect you to believe us, respect us or anything of the sort -- it's likely we wouldn't have in your shoes. Intelligence is no substitute for wisdom and consideration. I know that now. I hope you will, too, and sooner in life than I did, because I can still sometimes struggle with this issue.

You're right that age and maturity don't always run parallel -- but they do share a fairly strong correlation.

A person is not a marble. You can't put "blue" or "yellow" labels on people (although it's easier to do so every once in a while). The fact that you dismiss the "average majority" makes you stupid. If you took the time to just listen to them you'd learn that every person is interesting in their own way.

In my humble opinion, the more intelligent you are, the harder it is to find someone who both physically and mentally attracts you.

You can't go around using that as an excuse for ever, especially if your opening line in a conversation mentions your IQ, but I would opine that in any relationship worth its salt, you have to be able to TALK to the person that you're kissing.

And that's not rocket science, is it?

Yep, I hear ya. I will most certainly know more in 10 years, but even now I can outsmart and outclass some adults. I can hold my own in an argument with college professors on something like cosmology or aerodynamics, but if there's something I HATE it's adults constantly trying to tell me I'm more ignorant than I think I am. It is insulting to my intelligence and it makes me want to freakin scream.

I know exactly what you mean, though I do admit that I think that I was a little ignorant back then, even though I didn't think so. That was kinda the unclear point that I was trying to make, was that we think that we know more than we really do, and we'll see that when we get older. I thought that I knew so much, but not nearly as much as I do now, which I now realize.

Though once again, not saying that you are 100% like that, but I think that a lot of people are. Just keep an open mind, you know?

A person is not a marble. You can't put "blue" or "yellow" labels on people (although it's easier to do so every once in a while). The fact that you dismiss the "average majority" makes you stupid. If you took the time to just listen to them you'd learn that every person is interesting in their own way.

I can't believe your arrogance..... or superiority complex. I'm not sure.

EDIT: sorry if this looks like flaming. I'm not trying to personally attack you Kejott

haha, calling somebody stupid seems like a personal attack to me :p . Allow me the ability to toss this fun word around. As any intelligent person can clearly see, I wasn't saying people ARE marbles. It wasn't a literal comparison. It was an EXAMPLE of a simple mathematical idea compared to an actual event. As for just listening to people, I used to be quite the troublemaker and those were the type of people I hanged around. Hell I used to illegally prize fight every saturday. I've been around these people, I've been involved with these people. I know how they are like, I know their side of things. I never "ignore" the majority, they just simply annoy me.

Now on to serious business:
1) Don't patronize. Everyone knows it's just statistics. Well guess what? Statistics and people don't mix. Statistics is the study of how things were and can in no way predict how things will be. They can give a probabillity, but that's about it. PLUS statistics only work for the masses. Never for individuals. I don't know if you have read the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. Your first point is often correct, however your second one is flawed. A person shows who they are truly by their actions. As I have been around possibly thousands of teens and I have observed their actions. What makes you think you are capable thinking with more clarity than me just because you're older than me? I don't think the magical intelligence bunny puts a brain in your head when you turn 20. THAT is a load of crap. Hey, I've tried to be openminded about this but after constant disappointments it's quite hard having faith in people who don't give you respect for being smart. I totally see your side of the argument, but you don't have an accurate portrayal of what I'm saying.

LOL! Where the hell did you learn Dutch? (BTW: It's "Doet" and not "Zet")

If by "observing" you mean "I have seen them around" then it's not strange at all and I indeed have. But to me obverving means studying. Talking to them. See what drives them. Only then you get a vague idea on what they are about. Don't label people if you've just seen them pass you by in the hall a couple of times.

I don't know people not giving me respect because I'm smart? Did you pay attention at all to what I have been saying? I know exactly how it is. But intelligence simply isn't the sole reason one should or should not get respect. There are so many factors. Be open.

Your first point is often correct, however your second one is flawed. A person shows who they are truly by their actions.
You are ignoring people like me who use their actions as misdirection. Often my actions directly conflict with my personal opinions or thoughts. Ironically, usually I do so for the express purpose of leading astray people who assume that 'a person shows who they are truly by their actions'. Nice to know the technique still works.

Also, acting less intelligent than you are frequently has direct benefits, for example, not making unnecessary enemies and, if you like that sort of thing, being able to subtly manipulate people for your own advantage. You might be very, very intelligent, but I'd wager you'd be rather bad at poker.

As I have been around possibly thousands of teens and I have observed their actions.
Being around people is not enough to know them. You would probably have gained far, far more information had you sat down and got to know a dozen people, rather than 'observing the actions' of a thousand. There's a lot more to people than just how they act, and even if there wasn't, I seriously doubt you have seen 'around possibly a thousand teens' reacting to every possible scenario, so any judgements you make are terribly limited.

What makes you think you are capable thinking with more clarity than me just because you're older than me? I don't think the magical intelligence bunny puts a brain in your head when you turn 20. THAT is a load of crap.
Because with age comes experience. You won't like it. But, seriously. You're interpersonal skills alone show a huge level of immaturity. You can say 'I don't mean to sound pompous - I'm just stating a fact' as often as you like. An older person would say 'hmm, if I say that, I will sound pompous. I won't say it'.

Maybe you will disagree, but I know exactly which position *I* consider to be more intelligent.

And on a slight tangent, I think that while your homeschooling has obviously lead to you being very intelligent, is does seem to have effected your social skills. I'd suggest you spend a year or two in the dreaded public system, just so you can learn how to deal with people (yes, even the stupid ones), in ways that are more socially 'acceptable' (hate to use the term, and I hope you can understand the point I'm making. It's the one about life being easier for you, not about making other people happy).

The thing that turned me off average public school-attending teens is the fact they consider being smart to be "uncool" and if you are you get treated like dog shit.
That's what school is about - learning to deal with that trivial sort of bullshit in a way that a) doesn't distance you from society, because isolation is unhealthy and b) lets you be happy and not angry/stressed/unhappy because random idiots don't value you.

The thing that older people have the benefit of knowing is that there will always be people like that. Always. You don't get out of school and suddenly find that everyone is all adult and values your intelligence. There will still be people who treat you like dog shit, either because they're insecure, because they honestly think that intelligence is not worth the bother, or, well, just because they can. The adults you speak with may value intelligence highly (from what you've said here, it sounds like you sought out intelligent adults to converse with). They may also simply be impressed at your intelligence, so they keep conversations on intellectual topics. But just as there is no 'magical intelligence bunny [that] puts a brain in your head when you turn 20', there is no 'magical maturity bunny that makes people mature when they hit 20'.

People will always be jerks. You need to learn how to handle that (that's what public schools are good for).

Also the majority of colleges have rediculous requirements for homeschoolers who want to attend as if WE are the stupid ones. That pisses me off.

Would you rather they had low requirements, which would lead to a flood of people choosing homeschooling instead of public schooling just so they could avoid working hard? The requirements aren't high because they think you're stupid. They're high so that the stupid people don't try to bypass the education system altogether.

---
Also of note is that I'm 17. I'm not patronizing you (intentionally), and of course my views might be equally flawed as I consider some of yours to be. I guess the difference is that if someone older offers me advice or suggestions on my attitude in this thread, I'll be more inclined to think about what they're suggesting and why, rather than using the fact that they are older as a way to preserve my (possibly) incorrect views.

Pish, 'sif a minor thing like 'virginity' has anything to do with being a slut.

Far as I've seen in my circle of friends, 'slut' (and to a lesser extent 'whore') have both been almost entirely severed from sexual behaviour. Both are used pretty much the way 'bitch' is - a girl with a really sucky personality, or who did something unforgivable (sex related or not).

But then, most of my friends see sex as a really minor thing. If someone wants to have lots of sex, more power to them, no matter what the gender. So using 'you have lots of sex' as an insult doesn't exactly work.

Well, if a guy calls a virgin girl from here a slut, the rest of the guys would get confused. Over here, at least in my area, the word "prude" is used. But if she's acting like a bitch, then ya, the word slut and whore can be used as synonyms too I guess. But typically that's in a fight between a boyfriend and a girlfriend that that gets said.

Age does have a lot to do with maturity and wisdom, because as you grow older, you gain more experience. The experience may be that you spent all those extra years thinking and sharpening your mind. Perhaps during some of those years, your hubris somehow led to humiliation and failure.

Let's use a partially fictional story as an example.

---

Once upon a time, a talented young tailor set up shop in a village. He made quality suits and was very successful. He was intelligent, and he knew that no other tailor could beat him, because his skills, mastered from the days when he was an apprentice, were unmatched

One day, a middle-aged man came along to custom-order a suit. Alas, it was an ignorant man who got all the measures wrong and demanded that the suit be made precisely according to his instructions and with the poor materials he has brought.

The young tailor thought, well, there was no point going against the instructions, and since the man was too foolish to get things right, I should just do as he asked and let him see how much of a fool he was with all his demands. That would show him to never ignore my skills and expertise.

Sure enough, the man came back and took the suit without saying a thing. The young tailor thought it would be amusing to watch the man come back in a day or two to beg for his valuable input.

Well, it turned out that the man was a tailor from a town nearby. Displaying the poorly-made suit with the signature brand name for all the see, the man set up shop and derided the young tailor for his foolishness and arrogance. Within a short amount of time, the young tailor's business failed, not only because of the suit, but also because of the lack of respect he has toward his craft and his clients.

Realizing how unwise he truly was, the young tailor had a valuable lesson in humility and decided to relearn his craft. With the talent he already has, he was able to rebuild his reputation elsewhere years after, through nothing but humble craftsmanship.

who really cares?! people can call me a slut all they want, I know it's not true, people only get upset about things that they think are true so a woman is only gonna get upset about being called a slut if she thinks it's true, and if that happens she should reconsider her lifestyle, someone calling her a slut has actually done her a favour
Tink, that's not true. People internalise stigma, and it can cause very real psychological harm.

Also, if a woman (or man) fully autonomous and independent, decides to have lots of casual sex, SO WHAT? As long as they're safe and aren't putting themselves or anyone else at risk, it's nobody's business.

"Big whoop"? Yes, it is a big deal. I can tell that you're a young boy, just by what you said. It's nice to see that you have a well informed opinion though. -rolls eyes-

Oh? How so? In my experiance ladies hardly hold a high position on not being hypocritical.

*shrugs* Females are highly illogical, but so are the males of the species. :D

Yeah, and we become "hysterical" when we think too much. I loathe that generalisation. It makes me seethe... Seriously. Women are NOT illogical any more than men. At least you added in the part about men...

But still, I think humans are perfectly capble of logical behaviour, if we are not trained to be sheep our whole lives.

*buzzer* Wrong! No cookie for you. The word was "ape". And that quote was from the movie "Planet Of The Apes" Starring Charleston Heston.

Ah, "Charleston" Heston, the legendary dancer who created a stir in the 1920s by inventing a dance to go with James P. Johnson's immortal "Charleston."

It's Charlton Heston, genius. Still feel like bragging about being home-schooled? See now what folly it is to flog your own intelligence?

Sorry, pal, but you were asking for it -- and this was piffle compared to what adult reality has the potential to dish out if you choose to remain atop your high intellectual horse.

I've heard that Seattle makes people grumpy. Now I know that it is true.

And 'piffle'? And 'atop'? Dude those words are old.

If I thought for one moment women become hysterical if they thought to hard I would be painfully reminded otherwise, not physically either. My former boss being able to think circles around me and most of the rest of the faculty. Damn, but she knew a lot!

I stand by my statement though. Humanity in general seems to be capable of brilliant leaps of illogic. It clings to these illogical points no matter how many times it is shown to be silly. Including most of the divisions between the sexes.
