Well the school year is wrapping up here at the university, and I can't afford to live in the housing over the summer. As such I move back home next friday, leaving my T3 connection and obtaining dailup. Three weeks after that I move up the mountain, where I will live in a tent and work until mid August. I will post as I have the oppurtunity, but that may not happen often if ever. Next year I move into an apartment that does not have free internet. They offer a connection at a reasonable price, and if it is a decent connection I will pay for it. If not, then I won't. If I fade away, please occasionally bump a thread or two of mine for oldtimes sake.

Unrealated question, how long will they hold a nation on vacation mode, and does that keep my Jolt account alive as well?

Vacation mode is only 28 days...but the good news is, if your nation is deleted for inactivity, you can ask a mod to revive it for you :) Your starting date will be reset, but better than nothing...

Vacation mode is 60 days, 28 is the normal time limit. Plus, if you really want your nation kept alive, you can ask a friend (A RL friend, that is) with internet access to sign in for you every few weeks,

I'm gonna try to return. We'll see what happens. I leave my highspeed in a week, and in a month I abonden civilazation to go and work for the BSA. I get to live in a tent :) But mostly I get paid to camp, hike, climb, rappel, and play on a gorgeous mountain.

Not a good idea. If his friend turns out to be a rulebreaker, then Branin could get modbombed. He would never be resurrected in this case.

Well, I would make sure I turned it over to a level-headed and law-abiding friend, or a person who doesn't even play NS apart from signing in for me, but that is a good point.
