Is it possible to put songs on an ipod from two seperate itunes libraries? when I attempt this on my brother's ipod I get this message
The ipod "Daniel's iPod" is linked to another iTunes music library. Do you want to change the link to this iTunes music library and replace all existing songs and playlists on this iPod with those from this library? This seems idiotic. Does anyone know of a way not to delete all the songs he already has and just add some others?

Get the two computers on a lan or direct connect and use a prog. called Mytunes Redux, freely available on the net.

They're on the same computer, just different accounts. Will the same program work?

Dunno mate. I use an iRiver MP3 player, costs more but it's much better. Color screen, colored casing, good whatnot. Anyway, what I would recommend is write songs to a CD, save them on the other account, erase it, write the next set of songs to it and continue. Depending on what file type they're written to the CD depends how many songs can go on there. .wav = 19-20 tracks MP3 = 700MB of tracks. (700MB of music is quite a bit)

All I know is this:

If you have an iTunes library on your comp, and it gets deleted (due to reformat in this case), and you then reinstall the software and try to download more music, it deletes all your songs currently on your iPod.
