You know despite what you all may think there WAS a time when liberals and conservatives could somewhat get along. It wasn't all or nothing, there were alot of instances where you deffinitly agreed with one side which proved your allaince, but you weren't a fucking sheep. And if you disagreed hey, you disagreed..
Mom has been a loyal democrat sense she was twenty (She's 43 now.) and as she puts it "morals don't change". Ofcourse she is re-registering republican because she's now more enlightend on stances and issues because of me, she's more into the goverment staying out of private matters and encouraing morality in a state like a conservative where as I demand military spending as i'm a paranoid socialist and deffinitly think the economy needs to be turned over, shake out all the garbage, and fill it with new ideas of equal wages and less taxes. (It's not going anywhere. Trust me.)
Now despite mom being more concerned about the well-being of people's hearts and minds I'd just rather worry about the common wealth and not get screwed over. A very selfish way of thinking one might say, but I don't need no bombs around me. School should not be compulsery, people should have the right to live as they choose, and taxes should either be on the market goods or an anual fee, not both.
But despite these harsh differances when it comes to accepting what is wrong we both agree, we may not agree on how to work the solution, mom feels bad about the depleting morality rate, I look foward to them drowning in thier own fieces, but we both did agree on something and that keeps us knowing eachother is human and capable of feeling. You all have lost that, I don't think I'll ever see a liberal and a conservative make an argument, see what it says on the news about the bill, and then say "alright dude you win this round but next time victory will be mine!" "Hey don't take it personaly, let's go get a burger!"
Now you just do everything out of spite. Whatever one side does you have to do the complete opposite of. It's sickining and childish. And that's why I full heartedly believe America is dead and hopefuly the terrorists will win.
