we have this car programme over here called Top Gear and on one of the episodes they decided to race a fighter jet against some really crap car that they'd done up and they did it on some military boat thing like that one, i think it was to see which was the quickest to go from 0-60, anyway they didn't stop the car in time and it went overboard, it might be a picture of that

LOL! I'm sorry I missed that one! As to the one I posted the link to, I don't know if that was a doctored photo or not, but the very idea is funny to me. Some sort of new attack craft? Someone got ticked off because their car kept breaking down? Not to mention how they managed to get the car onto an aircraft carrier! LOL!

That "really crap car" was a Jaguar XJ-S. The "Military boat thing" was an aircraft carrier. I despair.

It was a Jaguar XJ-S, stripped of excess weight, tuned, and fitted with direct-port nitrous injection systems. I may not know many things, but THAT, dear lady, was a Jaguar.

Big, square, boxy, built like an MBT. It could only be a Volvo estate. Yep, and the one where they tried to see how many motorbikes they could jump over in a double-decker bus.

Either by lift... Or by what is known as a "double-pier" like they revamped Pier 6 at Norfolk Naval Station, Norfolk, Virginia; where the car could just be driven onto the ship from the pier...
