Zombies Are Real! Breaking News From Cambodia!
Here is a BBC report on the recent outbreak of a strain of malaria which is 100% fatal and "re-animates" the victims after a space of two days, after which time they are extremely violent.

Fake.
First: URL. It's an IP address.
Second: The map in the upper left highlights the Mid-East. Cambonia is in Southeast Asia.
Third: All the links on the right are about Syria and Lebanon.
Fourth: If you click the "Print Article" it comes up with a article about Syria-Lebanon.

I don't think it's real. Nice job of modifying a BBC web page though.

Cute prank.
Zombies seem to get a lot of press. The best book I've read is by Wade Davis, called "The Serpent and the Rainbow." Davis is an anthropologist who spent a lot of time studying (I kid thee not) zombification in Haiti.
Worth the read. I won't spoil the story for you. He's got a super flashy website: http://www.wade-davis.com/

Wow.
"They have an incredible biological weapon that should be destroyed immediatly."
Except it kills the person its in and makes them attack everything nearby. Useful eh?
And what about the anthrax? We keep that, don't we?

Wow. I was expecting a Gotcha Gag dragging over the links like that one Fake CNN Zombie Attack page did. Aside from the obviously different address, this was pretty damn convincing.
Be great for a zombie roleplaying game though.
I refer the honourable gentleman to this link (http://www.libertypost.org/cgi-bin/readart.cgi?ArtNum=93720)
And even if this is false, there are many other documented cases.

Man, I pulled this stunt earlier this month I I sure as Hell wasn't the first.
How many times is this article going to be reposted before it dies?
Actually, this was the first thread on the fake zombie news article, it has been resurrected for some reason.

That's the first time I read the article and I thought 'no way'.
Starting the heart isn't the same as making the victim walk, that'd take brain processes such as balance.
So I started looking for a fake clue, and the April 1st date at the top sprung out!
Yeah, I gave that link to a friend of mine and he noticed it. I was just gonna come back and say, but someone already noticed.

Btw, zombies also exist in haiti. In vodoo they are made through drugging.
