The largest nation on NS

So, I went over to the little tab that says world to see what nation was the largest nation on NS. The answer was the nation of Praetor, whose population is nearly six billion.

Now, I just figured I'd check what his forum standings are, so, I searched him. He has 346 posts to his name and has been around since December of 2002.

This might be taken as conclusive evidence that people who own long term nations might just actually have lives!

It's true. I have only posted under this nation, but I created Qariak back when NS had under 10000 nations. I wonder if when it's ressurrected, will the join date be the same?

No, the join date will be that of the resurrection. I've resurrected a nation several times.

Don't be silly. I've been here for over 2 years, have only 1,000 posts, and do not have one of those "life" things of which you speak.

Praetor benefitted greatly from the old population bug.

Which was that? It must have occured during the year I didn't play nationstates, between the time I created Qariak and Khaqir...

Yeah, I'd guess that the first 10 pages (give or take a few) of the world is rife with nations benefiting from the population bug. Thomasia is the oldest nation that I personally know of (I believe he has a November 2002 start date), and he's only 41st in size, and I know of a number of pop bug nations that are smaller than him.

Incidentally, just because you don't post in the NS forums very often doesn't mean you aren't really busy with other NS related things, and thus still don't have a life. For example, posting in regional forums, invading, or mapping.

lol. I like to think even those of us who have high post counts have a life outside NS, too.
