I Have A Problem......

This friday, there's a race at a place called Alfa Karting. Under any normal circumstances I'd go to the race no questions asked. Problem is, I hate Alfa Karts, hate them with a passion. National League, the only league I currently participate in, has had only two races. On both of them, Alfa Karts have moved their races back in order to coincide with the National League races, just to ruin it for them. So its clear that I hate these people, but desperately want to race because I'm bored and there isn't a race for another two and a half weeks. Added to that, I'm almost certain there'll be no other National League drivers there, and I'm pretty sure driving in Alfa Karts league will be severely frowned upon, and will do no good for my popularity in the National League. So I turn to the good people of NS for help.....
EDIT: And yes, after several bad experiences at Alfa Karts, I did swear I'd never drive there again. Time to swallow my pride or hold to my promise to myself?
ANOTHER EDIT: Yes, people will find out about my going there if I do, the league is on National TV.

You do karting because you enjoy it, yes?

So why not go out and enjoy yourself just racing a kart even if they arent the best in the world, and who cares what other people think?

The karts themselves aren't bad, neither is the course, even if it isn't my favourite surface etc.... its the place itself that irritates me. They have three courses in Israel, and a big league. The people running the company are the worst, most corrupt, most vengeful people you will ever meet. Like I said, they moved a league back twice just to match Liga Arzit's raceday. And frankly, I'm not sure I wouldn't rather go practice somewhere else instead, and not go to this league, simply because there is no love lost between the two leagues. Think Celtic player moving to Rangers, or Inter player moving to AC. It won't be well recieved.

your concern about your reputation is greater than your love of simply racing karts?

But like I said, I can go practice in Ashdod for my race next week, which will be much more productive and won't involve me hanging around with the Alfa Karts drivers.

aye but is racing against other drivers not much more fun than going and practicing on your own?

and sure, when you beat them you can laugh at them

Not when those drivers are arrogant stuck up full of themselves pricks it isn't no. Bear in mind I'll need to spend about eight and a half hours in their company.

And I won't beat them, I'm not that good yet.
