With the release of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith only a few short weeks away I'm overjoyed. I've been waiting since the day I saw AOTC. I know some of you may be sceptical about this new prequel but you shouldn't be. After reading the book I am convinced this will be the best star wars film of the saga. Please I would like to know what the rest of you crazy star wars fans think.

I love the Star Wars universe. I hope this turns out to be another Empire Strikes Back.

Does James Earl Jones have the coolest voice in existence or what?

i saw the movie trailer for the first time recently and it got me excited about the movie. im trying to hold back because there is a very high likelihood that it will suck and i will be utterly disappointed.

my son keeps insisting that this movie could redeem the entire 2nd trilogy and it could but damn it could just be another mess.

*prepares a seat in a cinema near Tink with a massive sign behind it saying "Geek! Down here!" on it*

I am definitely looking forward to Revenge of the Sith - the trailer made it look grrrrreat and I'd watch it even if it was on a par with...oh, say, the Phantom Menace

Also, anyone seen the Orange ads with Darth Vader?

i just don't want to watch any of the new star wars. after episode one, which was unbelievably shite, i decided i just couldn't take anymore of this blaphemy. i'd much rather prefer the star wars with harrison ford :D in it

I refuse to see any of his new SW movies until he stops being a turd and re-releases the first three in their ORIGINAL form. Those CGI remakes he did were an abomination.

CONFUSION ALERT!!!

By first three, do you mean IV, V and VI?

Well, since he hasn't remade episodes I,II, or III, what do you think?

Delight for Star Wars fans as Lucas announces TV series

STAR Wars fans awaiting the final film in George Lucas’s mammoth series received more good news today after it was announced a TV series is planned.

Tickets to watch all six films back-to-back, including an advance preview of Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, sold out in just five minutes yesterday.

But Mr Lucas has revealed that plans are afoot for a live-action television series focusing on events between Revenge of the Sith and the original Star Wars.

The film-maker didn’t give away any details of the plot, other than to suggest that it may involve some characters from the original trilogy.

And there’s a bonus for any fantasy-lovers - Lucas also hopes to launch a television spin-off of dwarf classic Willow.

I don't get the hype. I can already tell you what's going to happen. For instance: Are you a Jedi? Is your name Obi-wan or Yoda? No? You're going to die.

I'm a huge fan of the first three. The new ones have been
okay, but nothing amazing. But I've heard this last one
is going to be great. So I'm kinda looking for it

If any of you have actually read the revenge of the sith novel by Matthew Stover than you would understand my excitement. Now I'm only 17 so I wasn't fourtunate enough to be alive when the OT was made and by God I wish I had cuz I am I huge fan. Now I agree with all you purists who say the OT is head over heels better than the PT but I don't understand why people bash the PT. Phantom Menace sucked, I agree but come on you don't honestly think Attack of the Clones sucked, did you?

The new trilogy has been nothing but garbage. No action, bad plot, bad sterotypes and he forgot the "fairytale formula" that made the original work so well. With out the strong man and the scoundrel were left with a brat and an old fart.

Having seen the first two at a drive-in, maybe I'm no longer in the target demographic?

i've gotta say it looks awesome. blood, guts, gore, and action. it's gonna be a long movie, that's for sure. i wonder if it'll be more popular than LOTR?

I hope you guys know that Jar Jar has an extremely prominant role in Revenge of the Sith. He gets a full forty minutes of screentime.

There's more to a good movie than unpredictability.

I have been looking forward to this since Phantom Menace came out. I really hope it doesn't suck.

I don't think that it could possibly be as bad as "Home Alone: the Next Generation" which was entirely to kiddie. They've gone and earned themselves a PG-13 rating more appropriate to action movies so I really am expecting a bit more from this one. But I'm going to be having my first kid 2 days before the premier, so I'm probably not going to give a shit either way when the movie comes out.

All I can say is there had better be one big fucking improvement over the first two.
