I consider myself an independent voter, though I will generally side with the left wing. (Who am I kidding. I always will side with the left wing).
McCain is really the only Republican I like.
I live in Arizona.
No; ideologically, I'm a moderate progressive (about center-line between the parties economically, but rather forward-thinking socially), though I'm a registered Libertarian.

I don't plan on joining a party. I like my independence, though I am usually a libertarian I am a firm believer in the idea parties cause polarization.

I'm a Marxist, I believe in the theories of Karl Marx. I generally vote based on issuies though, so you might call me an independent.

Not American, but the Australian version would be a... "Liblab" :p (a mix of Liberal and Labour)
And no, I'm not one of them. I'm not into the whole parliamentary democracy thing, so no party for me!

I don't particularly love where the Democratic party is right now, but the Republican Party disgusts me and none of the independants really appeal to me either (and besides, you can vote independant to make a statement, but nobody actually thinks they will win).
So yes, when I can finally vote in 2008, I'll be voting democrat.
What? But that takes effort!Switch to Safari then.

could. but it wouldn't be of much help. the whole string brings up a random assortment of things, from chomsky to rothbard. "libertarian expansionist" in quotes brings up nothing of any use at all.
care to give me a hint?

No, in truth, I vote Independent. No offense (hehe) to anyone, but I think anyone who joins a party is simply being a lapdog to people who want more power.

yeah. which is why it doesn't fit with the rest of words in that string. maybe they meant internationalist?

Actually, I find more of a conflict between socialist and libertarian, than between expansionist and either of the others.
libertarians are typically minarchists. Libertarians are typically anarcho-capitalists. (Notice the capitalisation.) Socialism doesn't fit in well with either ideal, but the desire for the spread of liberty or of markets would easily accomodate the definition of expansionist being included in his political philosophy.

nah, we used the descriptor long before the neoliberals took it.
and expansionist implies a bit of subjugation, which isn't very libertarian.

um..."Bruceist"...same as my religion (my name is bruce) so basicly I just do what I think is right and good and allow others to do the same...
I'm registered democrat tho because in CT you have to be in the party to vote in primaries, and I tend to be very liberal based...particularly on social issues...if only I could be unaffiliated and still vote in primaries.

Not at all. Neocons are basically socialist expansionists, but socially authoritarian. (They let on being capitalist in order to get on with others in the Republican party.)
Christopher Hitchens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Hitchens) is an expansionist libertarian socialist.
