People just love fighting online
When you take a look on all the topics on this forum you clearly see one thing. A large percentage of the topic titles are provocative. It can be anything, this religion is stupid, US terrorism, French losers, Jesus was a dipstick, whatever. And they always return! Once people have stopped posting at one thread, a clone pops up!
I probably have posted provocative titles, I can't remember any but I am sure I have. I know that it is impossible to stop, I guess humans love fighting. Be it in the Colloseum or online, it's a fight! And rarely you will achieve anything. Sure, you see what other people think. But more often than not it will become an all-out war. Just a moment ago I saw a thread going from talking about fascism in Europe today or something and only a short time later it became a German bashing, people bashing Germans and Germans bashing back.
I know that many threads do turn into US bashing, I guess I have bashed them as well. But the point is, many threads will start with a semi-serious or even completely serious topic and go into flaming.
I guess this thread just became a rant, sorry for that. I hope I won't get bashed!

I don't believe you. I think you want more than anything to get bashed. And that, of course, is the reason I refuse to.
You masochists are all alike...

Flame threads need more of these :fluffle:. Where is the respect of the fellower poster gone. Where people of different backgrounds, beliefs experiences can choose to peacefully and respectfully disagree. I am hatin' the hatin'.

Rubbish! I don't love fighting online, and I'm insulted that you accuse me of doing so. Stop flaming me, you git.

Ah, United State of Europe, how we miss you. And how we fluffled you to neutralise your hatred.

The Fluffle. Jolt's contribution to insincere "affection" and "respect".
I do hope that this quote was in jest, as fluffles add nothing but noise to the thread. I'd be totally delighted to see the fluffle, the two idiotic sniper smilies, the snot-flinging gundger, and the ever-popular 'upyours' permanently banished from this site.
