Yes, I've known of these folks for a while, I'm not a member, but I am a Southern Gentleman.

I believe people should be able to do what they want so long as it does not harm anyone. A tyrant would deny us that. What worse, this particular brand of tyrant, the theocrat, probably still thinks the sun revolves around us...Can you say "dark ages"?

I don't necessarily agree with their views on all points... But, I'd like to note they are primarily "Christian" extremeists and Sessesionalists... And not WP types... I happen to know some black members of the group.

Look, if you want people to agree with you, you need to be much simpler. Try to get your ideas and messages down to the level of the common man, not that elitest jagon you used in this post. Simplify man, simplify.

LOL. If it started in Alabama, it isn't something you can take seriously. These were probably just a bunch of hung-over rednecks that couldn't figure out where the house trailer ended up after the last tornado. Look at who these nuts elected Governor a few years back. Fob James was about the biggest idiot anyone outside of Arkansas could elect.

I think we need to worry more about Robert Byrd (D, WVA) and what his former KKK membership means to the US Senate.

People who belong to this type of group are not typical of Southerners. Most of us are well-educated, tolerant people who are not religious zealots.

That being said, supremacist groups of all sorts can be found anywhere- not just in the southern U.S. I'm sick of people who want the world to believe that all "supremacists" are white, and that they're all Southern, and that every white Southerner hates everyone who is "different".

Nothing could be further from the truth. There are "racists" in every ethnic group, just as there are extremists in every religion.

The issue at hand, however is important to me, being a PCA member...

The problem with these reconstructionists is simple; they're contradictary. They say they wish to return the US to constitutional rule, but the constitution itself defeats their statements. They say they want to return the US to its roots.

It's roots are "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." These guys seem to want to destroy that...

though after the aryan nations were forced into bankruptcy, they had to sell off their headquarters in hayden and they've been on the decline up here. i believe they had less than 50 people show up to the big yearly gathering last year.
