Everybody who's anybody has read the Zombie Survival Guide and knows that zombification is caused by the solanum virus. But, how's this for a shock:

A potato supplier that shares a name with the virus!!

I'm thinking the zombies are using this potato distributor to infect thousands of innocent citizens with the virus, and raise a legion of undead soldiers.
