curling is obviously the greatess sport of all time. if you don't believe me, watch the classic drama based on the sport, "men with brooms".

Obviously, everyone has a different opinion on what the greatest sport of all time is, but it's hard to argue against golf. It's immensely popular and is played by 60,000,000 people worldwide.

Karate is the greatest sport. If you disagree, how 'bout watching some kumite among black belts then?

It's kinda' ironic. I never had the patience to do karate, yet, I love golf, a sport which requires an extreme amount of discipline.

i don't think their sexual practices are that important to their sport, but if you have a link i'm always interested in kinky gay sex.

Well, if it's a matter of popularity, I think no sport comes close to soccer then.
But I don't like either, my favorite sport has to be running after the bus in the morning.

That's definitely true. Aren't there 2 billion soccer players worldwide?

I think historically the greatest sport of all time is dodgeball, since many ancient civilisations played variations of the sport all across the globe.
But of course we all know the greatest sport is female mud wrestling
It should be illegal to kick as much ass as Golf does.
Dude, ungodly ass kicking.

You need to work on your game son. That handicap is way too high. I was making a 5 at my country club, until I had my accident. Work with the pro for a while and go over the basics again and again. Yours will come down greatly, son.

Excuse me, but Golf is hardly the greatest sport of all time. Its just a good way to ruin a nice walk.
I prefer racing, esp. Rally Raid: point A to point B across ungodly wastes and dangerous environments, last one there is a roten egg. Paris-Dakkar is the most famous example.
I hope they include a golf-course in the 2006 Paris to Dakkar. All those idiot golfer would look sop pretty splattered on windscreens, bits of their useless flesh clinging to the front grill and undercarriage.
Get a real sport, on that actually involves a true test of endurance, not just a test of patience. May God fart in your general direction on every hole.
Racing is a skill, not a sport. Now if the drivers had to get out and carry the car, well then it would be.
Golf? I could go either way on it, really.
well, since archery is obviously the best sport of all time, i do love the greatest sport of all time. hahahaha!

Woops! Didn't delete it fast enouigh. My post was off topic and went a little to far, I'll own up to it.
However, the rigours of of auto-racing far outsrip those of golfing. On average, an F1 or Nascar driver loses TEN kilos in the span of EACH RACE. A race lasts a few hours, 5 at most. I think it'd be better for me to just start a thread about auoto-racing and stay out of your thread about golf :)

Oh, please! Auto racing is a very demanding sport, physically and mentally. More so than golf, I dare say.

Your source is incorrect. If that was correct, then there would be a lot more... well much more death then there is currently in motorsport. Even though I do have GT4, I still don't believe that it's the world's most gruelling sport.
Nascar? Stupid, stupid, stupid!!! They spend hours DRIVING IN CIRCLES!!! Le Mans 24 Hr at least has variety... Oh well, that's America for you, driving over-powered understeer mobiles in circles for hours on end. Fun, fun, fun!
You mean, that's Redneck, Hick-Idiot America for you :D.
Yeah, I seriously don't know what's up with Nascar. Yes, it does involve skill, but not nearly as much as Formula 1 or others of the sort. I guess it's really popular over here because it's so stupidly simple. Oh, and because grabbing twelve cases of beer and gathering around the Tee-Vee to watch NASCAR is the redneck thing to do.

mmmh yes, sparring... that's one word for it... i prefer calling it hot man on man action, but to each their own.
the great quasifascist gay japanese writer mishima like to "spar" with other men... oh yes he did.
