In an effort to find some good topics for discussion, I am turning to the Political Compass quiz. The majority of us have taken this quiz and put thought into each of these questions, so hopefully they can provide some useful debate. Maybe we will see some radical shifts in political compass scores.
At the end all votes will be tallied and the predominant votes will be entered into the political compass to find an consensus political compass score for all of General.

I gotta remember to post these polls.
definantly yes, until you get rid of your enemy. then when you get rid of your enemy your friend becomes your enemy.

often the reason your enemy's enemy is an enemy to your enemy (whew!) is because they are both similarly arrogant/bigotted/abrasive,etc. not always, but often. disagree.

Disagree, but not strongly. They are your friend for the war but always end up stabbing you in the back.

Logically unsound. A is B therefore A is C. That's bad logic. Your enemy's enemy could easily hate you more.

Hell, no! I consider Nazis my enemies, yet so do communists. And communists are definitely not my friends. They're simply Nazis who go by a different name.

I judge by the actions of the entity, not by their alliances. The friend of an enemy can be a friend and the enemy of an enemy can be an enemy. It depends on the entity itself.

Strongly disagree, two weak enemies is much easier to deal with than one strong enemy.

Strongly disagree - same logic went to work for the CIA when they armed OBL and the Mudjaheen against the Soviets; and OBL now heads a terrorist organization...

i said "Agree" because it can be true in the short term... If I don't like country B but both of us really don't like country C, then country B and I might become allies if only for the sake of going up against country C.

Correct, for example WW2.
A: USA
B: USSR
C: Nazi Germany
But in the end the USSR and USA stabbed each other in the back.

Swimmingpool, I am just curious:
Is Damian Duff Ireland's best player?
Or is it Roy or Robbie Keane? Or someone else?
I'm wondering which player Irish folks see as the top Irish player.
Thanks.

Strongly Agree.
The first time I saw that question, I thought someone took it right out from the Satanic Bible and put it in the test. Haha. The enemy of my enemy is my friend indeed. Just don't forget to backstab your "hated ally". It's one of the first lessons in Satanism. It's because of this quote that I have temporary allied myself with religious fanatics and red necks of the conservatives to help me destroy my hated enemy, the liberals.
